We were visiting Forest City to see the Christmas lights. By chance, we saw the bakery and thought it closed at 6 on Tuesdays - but lucky for us they stay open later during the holiday season! Everyone was very welcoming and kind! My children ordered some hot chocolate and a cookie (the cookies are HUGE)! Greg and I shared the chocolate cheesecake (OMG DELICIOUS!!) Definitely worth checking out!
This place is so fun. You can see the staff cooking from the balcony. You can view an old bank safe inside the building. Food was great, they even had keto cookies!! Haven't had something from a regular bakery in years, this was the most wonderful surprise!!
The good: Good decorations Friendly staff Amazing real bank vault Nice background music The not so good: - Coffee was just ok. Not amazing -Pastries were good but not great -Somehow disorganized. Some areas were kind of messy. -One of the main attractions in my opinion is the beautiful real bank vault which is being used as a place to store store supplies. -The place needs TLC and a good cleaning - layout could be improved
There were two ladies outside inviting people in off the street and they were so friendly and excited when I decided to go in. The inside of the shop is so nice and super clean. I got the Triple Berry Latte and it was delicious. I also got a Lemon Sugar Cookie and it was perfection! It wasn’t too sweet or too much lemon. It was perfectly balanced. I will definitely be going back to try more things!
Super cute place full of delicious baked goods. I love coming here while in town and I always am sure to grab a cheesecake for my sister. (Their seasonal Apple Cider is also amazing, a must try! They should have it year round ❤ 😄)
