Good neighbourhood pet stood store that is small in size, but big on selection. As with most retail stores, some of their items are priced higher so I recommend checking their prices online ahead of time.

Do not under any circumstances use the online order option. It is seriously the worst. I got charged for the portion of my order that was picked up all was good . Just found a pending transaction on my credit card for the "full order" but no email to pick up the rest of my order or why I am being charged- called the store - told to call customer service - no joy and extremely frustrating experience - customer service told to call the store . Maybe my order was not complete - it was not, but nothing indicating the rest of my order would be fulfilled. But shady charges and no help until you throw a fit.

We just came back from the Pet Valu Uptown Markham location. What a beautiful store. Everything I can think of for my dog is there. The staff are courteous, helpful and no need to wait long for help. Our bag of dog food was carried to our car by a very polite staff. So many other retail businesses could learn how to provide excellent customer service from Pet Valu. Thank you, we will be back!

It was my cats bday so I went to pet valu to try and make him a pate cake decorated with treats but it couldn’t have seafood ingredients. The staff was more than willing to help me find food with my unique requests and even help me find my cat a bday outfit too. Thanks for making my cats bday great he was very happy.

We mainly come to use the self serve dog wash. Shampoo, conditioner, towels, treats, aprons and blow dryer are all included with the wash in a raised tub for your dogs! It's way easier than using our own tub and cleaning it later. It can get busy, so I'd recommend calling ahead to see what the wait is like. Weekdays are slower ☺️
