We have had 4 dogs. The first 2 (before we had sons- now both adults) were Chows. The breed for the third (15 years) and current dog (2 yrs old) is Jack Russel. Past owner, Dr. Hecht for our first 2 and Dr.Jennifer Anderson (current owner) for our 3rd and current dog made and continues to run this Veterinary Clinic with top notch staff and a personal love and care for every pet that is treated at this office.
I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else! The staff is caring and considerate of pets and their humans. Dr. Anderson is thorough and compassionate. She always provides good information as well as options to assist in making difficult decisions. I highly recommend Pawsitive!
DON'T GO HERE. They killed my precious dog last year with negligent care and their hastiness to over prescribe medications at the drop of a hat. My dog had been going here for his whole life--around 8 years--and he'd been healthy his whole life until the end of his life when he developed dental disease and a few other problems that came with advanced age for his breed but he was doing very well. This office is not good about preventative care, catching minor problems during check ups and shots during the year. When a problem occurs, then it's time to over prescribe. The over prescribing of steroids caused other issues to rear its head which made his final days miserable. It was a train I could not stop once he fell ill and he was gone within a month. On his final visit, The vet insisted on prescribing more steroids and antibiotics instead of getting to the root issues of his problems. He died the next day. I feel terrible that I did not heed the advice of people who told me to seek other vet offices for him, as they were not convinced this doctor knew what she was doing. I will NEVER have my dog back so I'd like to help you save yours. Rest in Heaven, Good Boy.
Used them for years and years for basic care and they were reasonable and polite, gave us what we asked for; nothing more nothing less. Limited hours meant urgent issues were handled by a different vet. When it came to aging and end of life care I thought there would be more education and support in planning which made the experience probably more distressing than it needed to be; but we also struggled to keep up with the cost of testing at the end and I didn’t know how to ask for the support we were needing probably. Just got off the phone with the pet crematory; they kept our pet nearly two and a half weeks after she passed before giving her to the crematorium. The idea of her body waiting that long hurts my soul. The condolence card they made arrived at our home before her body made it to the crematorium.
I have no words to express how grateful I am for the care and compassion you gave my beloved fur baby in his final hours. Your team and vets were compassionate and caring, and as hard as it was to lose him, you gave me the peace I needed in that moment. 🐾 Thank you so much!! 🙏 🤍
