My 9 year old daughter has danced at Passmore since she was 2. Her teachers are all amazing and have become part of the family. The instruction is beyond compare and each year the choreography somehow gets better and better. Each teacher is more creative than the next and their passion for dance is simply infectious. My daughter has grown into a strong, confident, team player because of the PMD dance team.
Passmore dance studio has the best instruction around. Not only do the children learn dance but there is a huge emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship. The studio environment is positive and fosters acceptance which allows kids to excel while truly being themselves. None of this would be possible without the amazing owner, teaching staff, and director.
My daughter took dance classes years ago when we lived in another town and decided to quit because it was "boring". When we moved to Swedesboro a few years later while we were walking in town and saw Passmore Dance, she decided she wanted to try it more one time. She took 1 class and that was it! 5 years later... she is on competition team begging me to put her in as many classes as my wallet will allow! It is a small company, but the dancers are mighty. I am in awe of what these teachers are able to get out of these kids. It is such an enriching environment focused on the love of dance, positive competition, and the value of teamwork. Plus I love the fellow dance moms!
One of the most disorganized businesses I have dealt with. To top it off, at the recital today, which already had other issues, I bought some raffle tickets to support the dancers. I won a basket, and when I went to claim it, it was already gone. When I asked if they had the drawn raffle tickets to verify, I was told, "No. People just came up and said what they won. Sorry." Perfectly sums up the experience we have had. Thankfully my kids don't want to continue dance.
i dance here and all the teachers are so nice and really helpful. also the studio is really nice and a friendly and comfortable environment 🩰
