Park Hotel Gardenia

The hotel is awful. We could not enter the room all day because the card did not work, we asked the staff to give us another room. We got it at 11 p.m. , while all our things were stuck in the first room. Paid parking is valid until 8 am, so the car must be moved even though the check out is until 12. Breakfast is stale and cold. the tables in the restaurant are dirty. Never again !

This hotel deserves max 3 stars, not 4, I think. There were some things that ruined our experience (during our stay in the superior apartment) such as: - Under the shower you have to wait for a warm water. And freeze in the process. Then warm water goes, but not hot. - Spa tube in the room fills slowly and only with warm water, not hot, so that limits the max temperature of it and during the process you have to wait in the cold. - There is a really bad smell coming from the restaurant, I think, next to the spa. - Steam bath is not as good as in hotels we've visited for cheaper or the same price. It is half the steam you expect from a steam bath. - There were a lot of stink bugs in our bedroom and it smelled terribly during our stay. We were extremely annoyed and leaved hotel for the 2nd night. Maybe that's normal considering the mountain atmosphere, but you should keep it in mind. - The mechanism with card for unlocking the room doesn't work properly. We had to try again and again every time until it turns green. However there were nice things that left us with positive feelings overall towards our stay. The apartment is big, it has a great view and the backlight in the big spa tube is great. The pool is great if there are not many people there. The hotel has a good location as well.

Been there as a pilot of group of thirty five people. Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful - which is the biggest advantage of this place. Very tasty meals during the day, great location and a cosy SPA zone complete a very nice stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Food was bad bad bad. My friend didn't like her food and yet she had no restrictions. Better not to even discuss how I was treated as a vegetarian! My food came hours after my friends. And the quality of the normal evening food was terrible. The reception staff were very good. And the shuttle service is useful. The rooms were clean, big and to a good standard. In terms of value for money however, very OVERPRICED. For this amount, they could make the bar free for atleast things like coffee or tea...!

Great staff, very helpful. Very clean hotel. Rooms are fairly decent and big enough. Very friendly staff at reception.
