Pabalu Mandapa - Authentic Sinhala Cuisine

A very popular family meal! We were very well received by Samantha, Nandasiri and her family. The hosts are very nice and ready to design specific dishes for children. The food is very good with a wide selection of dessert and fruit dishes. They took great care of us and our children. And we thank them again for their hospitality. We wish them a great success for their restaurant and will come back with pleasure during our next stay in Polonnaruwa. We recommend this restaurant to French travelers and other countries of course!

Very special, family-run restaurant recently opened. Very good typical Sinhalese dishes, lots of choice and variety. Very hospitable and nice owners, super recommended. I will definitely be back.
