I started treatment here in may of 2022. I was unmedicated for Bipolar 1, BPD, PTSD and anxiety. I was passively suicidal and full of anger, mixed with depression stemming from a divorce along with another traumatic event. They got me in almost immediately. I continued to struggle and she decided my medicine needed to change. I had told them I can not be treated with depression medicine until I have been stabilized on mood medicine bc I become violent. I ended up in a physical altercation on the beach. I called the dr right away. No return call. For 3/4 weeks so when she did call I was angry and I told her so. She was offended and did not tell me but she ultimately refused to be my provider and had another girl Karen ?? Take over my chart. After researching I noticed that new med she put me in was in fact a depression medicine.. that I had specifically said I can not take. On to the new dr. We tried several things with the dosage of my current medicine and decided spravato might be helpful for the depression. They started the treatment and in a few weeks I was so angry I asked to be taken off work. In fear I’d be fired I was hoping to get myself together and return better. Throughout the next 6/8 weeks I took a spravato treatment 2x a week. I increasingly became more and more angry. Beth assured me this was not due to the spravato (honestly Beth is the only person here who made me feel like she cared about me). I had to talk to the spravato dr and my dr each 1x, I was honest that I’m not sleeping and my anger is out of control. Well the day before my FMLA papers were due I was upset during my appt. I was yelling and screaming on the phone about it. I received an email immediate the call telling me I was no longer a patient due to “unpleasant interactions with staff members”. I’ve never been out of control in office or threatened anyone. My anger and irritation are exactly why I’m here getting help? I called back and was told that the FMLA papers along with a release to return to work were no longer their problem and I’d need a new dr to deal with it. Devastated and scared I immediately find another dr. From 10/6/23 to 11/10/23 I requested my info be sent to the new dr 5 times and it’s still never been sent. The new dr sd he would not and could not fill out FMLA papers based on treatment someone else did and that it is most definitely and legally the original dr office problem. He also refused to release me to go to work bc he had no clue why I was off work. Due to all of this I lost my job. So I no longer have insurance and can’t get any treatment now. Cold turkey off all meds, can’t afford doctors, medicine, bills or food. I’m in worse condition than I was when I began treatment here. I thought I was suppose to be honest and transparent with my doctor so they can see how things are really going. Instead I was punished for the exact reason I started treatment. And rejected for my mental health problems. Make it make sense bc I can’t figure it out. Last week I received a call someone asking if I wanted to continue treatment with dr haque. I thought this was my new facility so I quickly said no. I have no way to get treatment so I can’t continue. Then today I received a letter from that dr and it’s to this place! Saying I haven’t paid my bill and that they are dismissing me as a patient and I can have my records with written permission sent to a new dr. Threatening me with something they did 4 months ago that has caused me to be worse off now than I was when I started treatment. Oh and I found out the sleeping meds they gave me were really depression pills. The drug can be used two ways for depression or sleep and is dosed differently. I should’ve been on a different version. Also they new dr was super uncomfortable with my dosages and sd it was unethical for that to continue. I am sad , hurt and disappointed by this company. They’ll leave you broken. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go here. Beth is the exception to this review but she can’t carry the entire practice.
Careful with these ones. Had tms treatment which didn't work but still was charged a few thousand dollars for it. I was paying it down and my card on file expired. Between that time and the bill collectors calling I was able to find 1 time they tried to reach me. Just sent it to collection with barely providing minimal effort to reach out. Lesson learned. Don't do business with these people
The team of doctors and support staff is excellent here. The machines are modern and the medication process they follow is latest. I absolutely recommend this place to local friends in Ohio.
I've been to a lot of psychiatrists in my lifetime and this place is the best one by far! You need anything and you call and the NURSE 👩⚕️ (Mandy) actually answers the phone! Only once have I had to leave a message and they called me back within 10 mins with a med change! Dr Rodriguez is the best! She listens to you and she's very compassionate! Most doctors are in a hurry and don't listen and just rush you out. I highly recommend Dr Rodriquez ❤️
I would like to give a huge shout out to Carissa. She is an amazing nurse and I can’t brag on her enough! She goes above and beyond for me and I don’t know what I would do without her. She is caring and thoughtful and really cares about me and I am sure all of her patients. It is nice to know that I am not just a number. And when people struggle with mental health it is so comforting to know that we have someone like Carissa in our corner!!! ❤️
