Ocean Blue Fishing Adventures

Just spent four and a half days fishing at Ocean Blue on board with Jed as a captain. After coming from a freshwater fishing background and having only a small idea of how to chase large pelagic species Jed made it incredibly comfortable to fish on board around more experienced anglers and helped where he could with technique tips and was always putting in extra effort to get us on to the fish. It was a tough week with a lot of sharks around but we all managed to get fish into the boat. The banter on board the boat between everyone and the captains made for a good laugh and great competition between the boats and also showed that the captains were just as hungry to get you on to the fish for bragging rights among one another. Thanks again Jed for an awesome first experience on the big fish mate, I’ll be back again.

The staff at trees and fishes made this experience unforgettable, from start to finish they made sure we were very taken care of. We will definitely be returning!

My husband and I had a fantastic time fishing with Ocean Blue. Our guide Stephen was very knowledgeable and determent to put us onto the fish. He also listened to what we wanted to target and did his best to full fill our list of species. Jeanine was a great hostess and made sure we felt at home, we were also lucky enough to meet Angele who runs and has ownership in the business. Angele was very friendly and accommodating just like everyone else.The Trees and Fishes resort was beautiful to stay at with amazing food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will most certainly be back. Thumbs up to the whole team!

Truly memorable fishing experience on every level. The staff take exceptionally great care of you, especially Jeanine who goes that extra mile to make sure you are well looked after. The location, the fishing, the accommodation, and the meals are all amazing. Definitely a bucket list place to tick off!! Just come back from my third trip in three years...never disappoints, and a place where trophy fish are a reality.

From the moment of arrival we were met by Jeanine our host who from the outset made our stay so special. My husband spent his days fishing while I lazed at the resort, enjoyed the private villa and soaked up the hospitality. The accommodation, service and food was amazing and location is spectacular. What really made this place was the genuine kindness of the staff. Nothing was a problem. Trees and Fishes Lodge was amazing, my husband loved the fishing....amazing experience. Look forward to coming back. Thanks Jeanine, staying with you guys was the highlight of our Vanuatu holiday.
