Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful made me feel comfortable and at home. I had seen one worker Mike at my apartment complex . Introducing your company. Was so thoughtful and explained so much. I MADE MY CHOICE.But of course I wanted to get to know the clinic and how it was operated. I WAS IN FIR A TRULY NEW EXPERIENCE IN HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AND EMPLOYEES....I WAS PICKED UP. UPON ARRIVAL. I WAS GREETED BY WONDERFUL STAFF. FROM THE FRONT DESK TO THE NEXT PERSON... SORRY FORGOT HER NAME BUT SHE MADE ME FEEL EVEN MORE AT HOME.... LIKE A FAMILY MEMBER. FROM THAT POINT ON IT WAS REMARKABLE....NOT NAKING THIS UO

Staff were courteous and fast in handling any requests I had. Dr. Zuberia was thorough and caring. It was nice to be given such individual attention without a rush and everything had to be in 15 minutes! No weird double scheduling as well. Also had my blood drawn right there in the consultation room while getting another monitor done. The Oak Street Health only takes MEDICARE patients, so they specialize and understand the 65 plus age group. There is a large waiting area with TV, coffee, water and clean tables. Even 3 computers for you to use. They have special workshops coming up in Oct./Nov/Dec on "Medicare Basics" which I look forward to attending to keep up with any changes that may affect me. I love the service that Michael, Michael and Tanya give me as well, always there to answer any questions and share concerns. I have made Oak St. Health my Primary Care Physician. Easy scheduling, they draw blood there and do EKGs there as well. Also provide FREE transportation to and from the office if needed. They are located near the 36th Street and Thomas location as well as 7 other locations in AZ. So check it out by taking a "Welcome Tour" for about 30-40 minutes to meet the staff and talk to one of the doctors - you get to interview them and hire them as your Primary Care Physician!!! I would definitely recommend Oak St Health to others! My first experience was totally positive...from the initial greeting to the final goodbye. I changed my PCP with this visit, and the personnel helped it to be an easy process. The Dr that I saw was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and was extremely helpful. Even though she's not my primary PCP, I'd gladly see her again. I received all the help I needed, including getting a new prescription from the machine (first time experience). Overall, it was a great experience!

The doctor lied to me. I spoke with my insurance company, they don't expect me to come in every month for preventative tests. Worst healthcare place ever! Billing insurance companies is all they want to do. It's a waste of time and a terrible, greedy concept. Oak Street Health is nothing but a harassing, money making clinic. At Oak Street Health, the doctor told me I would need to come in EVERY MONTH for preventative tests. That's insane! I told her I would not do that and she refused me as a patient because she wasn't going to make money from me. I've already had all my testing, I'm terminally ill. I was told that healthy Medicare patients must come in every 3 months for preventative tests...and patients who have health major health conditions (like myself) would need to come in every 3 weeks for testing -- EVERY 3 WEEKS for tests! I'm near the end of my life, I don't want to be poked and prodded and be under stress with useless testing, I already went through all that. I have since found a better doctor who isn't under the thumb of a greedy healthcare company that will harass and bother people every month just to make money by milking insurance companies. They are not understanding and they're disrespectful, especially to the terminally ill. I wish I knew this before I scheduled my appointment. They don't tell you this on the phone, they tell you that you must come in every month for tests when you are sitting with the doctor. I wasted an hour and a half of my time. Never again.
