Narmada Hills Resort

This location is not in Omkareshwar. It's around 35 Kms away. You better visit the omkareshwar first and then spend a leisure day here. Good property in the lap of the forest.

Only one thing is good about this is the location . rest of the things are pathetic food, rooms, services staff behaviour everything and funny thing Goibibo and make my trip shows that its 2 km. Far from omkareshwar but it is around 30 km far from omkareshwar main mandir . This is based in Bank of narmada behind omkareshwar temple and there is no way to travel there as dam road don't allow to travel via dam and it's hard to found any boat on the bank of narmada so please don't be misguided by Goibibo or make my trip. The food is pathetic The noodles are mixed with tomato ketchup tea and hot chocolate is full of sugar. Services are so pathetic and staff is very rude they don't even bother to listen to your complaint and directly reply if you don't like here cancel your booking and leave we can't help you Property and location is good but it's high time for the government to privatise the property so at least they will be able to provide some good service also the beauty of the place can be maintained.

Very remote location if you coming for jyotirlinga Darshan, to go one side of river to another side of river boat person asking 1000-2000₹ . No any other transport service available. Out side the resort nothing is there even one shop so you have to eat only from resort. Front desk staff behaviour rude for any service, you have to call several time for a small service. You have to struggle for check-in in weekend check in time in goibibo in 12pm but resort reception person saying that it has 1pm. Very bad experience. Please don't book is hotel if you coming for darshan with family.

Far away from Omkareshwar temple. One need to take a boat to reach the resort which cost around Rs 1500 other way to reach resort via road (32km approx ) which cover forest area of around 20 km which make it unsafe to travel during night via road. Facilities in the resort were below expectation. Swimming pool was of no use ( dirty water) no wifi service available in rooms.

While the property is good, there are several issues that the management needs to take care of. The service is lethargic and the staff has no absolute clue what their role is. The restaurant is badly managed and orders take upto 1 hour while the menu is very restricted. There are electricity issues, but I understand they are beyond their control. The reception of the resort is at the end of the property and you have to move there for the check-in. You call the reception and most of the time they don't receive the call and then you call the mobile number. Luggage drop by staff is merely available. Being an isolated place, the security may be a concern, as the security guard is a teenage boy without any arms.
