MONOPOLY DREAMS Melbourne

went here on a wednesday and it was pretty packed. didn’t have to wait to get in but had to wait a while for all the games. most were very interactive and fun, highly recommend the electric company game where you hit/run on the target to light up the cities. was also a place where you were placed in a container and you had to collect all the flying money. also really enjoyed the 4D experience and lazer maze. unfortunately they were all pretty similar to each other, most games just felt like playing with an interactive fridge screen. in the end, when we were able to redeem our points won from the games, it became slightly confusing with how the process of purchasing and redeeming worked. wasn’t worth it in the end, 1000 points = 1 dollar (was excruciatingly hard to earn 1000 points). ended up redeeming four cupcakes from the cafe and a small go to jail coin bag from the gift shop which was very nice. luckily the experience was very enjoyable, went with family and it was a great time killer, but honestly would not come back as it was way too expensive.

My sincere gratitude goes out to all the helpful and kind personnel that assisted with the activities. The whole family thoroughly loved the experience and was astounded by the level of attention to detail that went into making the board games accurate. Without a doubt, I would suggest this experience to everyone!

It’s an amazing addition to the city of Melbourne but it leaves a bit to desire. Booking and entry -the booking experience was super smooth and very easy online -Entry into the location was very quick smooth and easy to explain. -Quick tip if you are with a big group make sure you each have your own QR code on the phone because you will scan it at almost every game. The interior and activities -Monopoly Dreams is truly a stunning place to behold, they include a small museum before reaching the main activity area and a few other things I won’t spoil. -You engage in many games that are a mix of physical and mind games. -Most of the games are more suited to 3+ year old kids who will be able to participate -you collect monopoly cash and you can use that to redeem as discounts on goodies at the end of the adventure Conclusion -It’s a great place to visit and a super welcome addition to what Melbourne has to offer -it’s does feel a bit lacking however, many of the games and activities and just so simple and seem so carnival like that it left us wanting something more intricate and modern. Would still highly recommend for any Monopoly fans or anyone wanting a unique well theme family activity.

What a beautiful setup - such a vibrant and lively monopoly world! Haven’t seen anything quite like this in Melbourne and I would totally come back for more. I do wish there were more financial literacy programs or activities added to the experience so that the kids and younger adults can benefit and take away some useful knowledge from their visit. There’s also a monopoly cafe - I had the opportunity to try their eggplants chips and I would highly recommend them 💖⭐️😋

Really excited for the opening, it’s been a long time coming. The venue definitely pays homage to the board game. The facade to the shop front is well done, very eye catching and draws you in once you get down the stairs. Friendly staff and cleanliness. Setting time aside to bring my nieces and nephews I think they would really enjoy. It appears interactive (have not gone beyond the barrier) but would be worth an afternoon. The cafe was unfortunately not opened as yet. But again, on my list to return to check out. Worth the visit if you’re after something nostalgic and interactive.
