We had a very lovely time here today. It was lots of fresh air out of the city. After a long drive we decided to stop for some food. very polite staff. Happy environment.

Ordered a bowl of chips and grilled fish, waited 45 minutes and then was told it would still be another 15 minutes. I got my money back, the young man at the bar was really understand. The two stars are for him . Outside dining has no blankets or heating. I do not recommend.

Order my food and sat down and at a good table. 1hr later still no food, got a refund and left. Waste of time

Been to Lorne twice with friends. Food has always been good and the drinks have been good quality as well. Whenever I make my way back into town would come in again.

The place was family friendly and was a nice environment to be in, however I ordered the Chicken Burger and it was quite frankly it was disgusting. The whole thing tastes like seaweed and sushi. It had a burnt flavour to it. My brother also ordered it and after eating half of it, he said he felt sick. I too felt bad after eating it and by the end of the night my favourite thing that I had there was my drink. I will not be returning here in the future.

We visited this hotel for an evening meal & I have to say it was extremely dissapointing. The menu is quite limited with no alternative dietary options listed on it. I ordered the Barramundi which was a small piece served with a few radishes & cauliflower florets in quite a bland sauce. This was $42 wasted. The waitress was very pleasant but thats as far as it goes. I would not eat here again. Cant comment on the rooms so ignore my rating on those.

Chicken schnitzel was amazing, Hicheal provided excellent service making the meal that much better. Definitely recommend

NO coeliac or vegan options on the menu! Very disappointing from such an established pub/hotel. Came all the way from Melbourne only to be told sorry, nothing can be eaten from the menu. We were allowed to bring in external food, but its a shame it's gotten to this point the kitchen won't even try. On a side note, the Pholklore was AMAZING!

Would rate 0 stars if possible. Terrible experience here since the changes - booked for dinner with a table of 15 and had 2 coeliac apart of our group. We were told by the waitress that we ‘don’t do that here’ and that there were only options of oysters or steak. No option of gluten free as an allergy on the ordering system and no knowledge or assistance from staff. Told that we should get food elsewhere. Very disappointed and will not be returning
