Amazing club

I've trained in jujitsu on and off since the early 2000s and is the only martial art I have stuck with. It's a great social place with great instructors who have inspired me to keep going.

This is a very good dojo, I have learnt a lot over the course of the decade that I've been training here.

I have been with Valor Ju Jitsu/ Precision Combat for quite some time now having been a member of other martial arts club previously. The fact that I still train with Valor is testimony in itself. The training and instruction is spot on. My children are club members and the instruction for both adults and children is excellent. The lessons are well taught and explained and are both challenging and rewarding. I always come away from a lesson with a sense of accomplishment. If I could sum up the club in four words it would be "great training, no egos".

My two girls have been attending Valor Precision Combat in Newport for 2 years now and they absolutely love their classes with Steve. They have progressed extremely well and always look forward to going! Both Steve and Reece deliver amazing classes and have helped my girls grow in confidence and knowledge.

i have used Valor Ju Jitsu and can highly recommend them to anyone joining especially for teenagers they have been great and supported not only my teenager but given her the confidence in which has boosted her own self worth and self esteem for anyone with teenagers who need to vent or find a productive way to support there emotions this is the key especially if they have an interest staff are very supportive

Been taking my 7 year old son here for 2 ½ years. My son loves it. He was painfully shy when we first started, and all of the Sensai's were so lovely, patient and welcoming to him.

Valor Ju Jitsu has provided a great way of keeping fit and developing confidence. I'm particularly grateful to Renshi Reece Phillips for working with me and adapting the system to allow me to keep training after a serious accident - which helped me recover my mobility much faster. His willingness to adapt the system has also helped my son who suffers from hypermobility and mobility issues to participate in a great self defence system.
