Mark Langford Garden Design

We had initial discussions with Mark regarding the design of our rear garden soon after moving into our newly built home. We gave him a broad outline of the various elements we would like included and gave him a free rein to incorporate these into the overall plan. From the first sight of the draft plan, we could see that we would end up with a truly special garden. Due to various limitations, including Covid, it was many months before building work commenced and the plans were turned into reality. Despite the delay we were not to be disappointed. As well as designing the hard landscaping we also engaged Mark to design and implement the planting plan including sourcing all the plants. The planting took place just over a month ago and the garden is now truly starting to take shape. From start to finish the service that Mark has provided has been excellent. His design ideas have given us a truly beautiful garden, one that gives us great pleasure whether we are in the house looking out at the garden or outside relaxing in it. We highly recommended Mark if you want a highly skilled and reliable garden designer.

We engaged Mark 5 years ago when we decided we needed a pro to solve the challenges with our garden. We saw his portfolio and loved the modern contemporary style he designs, and his design for us was absolutely superb. Having an experienced professional look at your garden and bring their creativity and experience to the design is money VERY well spent - his ideas were things we never even considered despite spending the previous 10 years thinking about how best to use the space and being fairly experienced gardeners ourselves. The resulting garden was everything we wanted and has literally transformed how we live in the house and garden. 5 years later we spend so much time out there and it has brought so much pleasure. I rarely went out there before apart from doing the regular garden chores, but now it's really become the cliched 'another room of the house' and continues to deliver everything we wanted, and more, from the space. Working with Mark was a pleasure throughout, from the initial consultation all the way through to the finished build, and his detailed designs meant the builders were able to bring it to life perfectly. Highly recommended and if we ever did decide to move again, Mark would be the first person we'd call!
