Lloyd Apartments

What drew me to this complex was its affordability, closeness to DC, old town Alexandria and the airport among other conveniences!!!This is still the same! And better as the company has upgraded apartments, laundry facilities, which was overdue!The staff has been very courteous and responsive whenever i have an issue. In the area where I live, my neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is generally quiet. Anyone who’s interested in proximity to DC, Old town Alexandria and affordable rental should check it out. While the apartments are older and may not have all the modern conveniences of apartments built today, I’d still choose these… I’ve been here more than 20 years.

My experience with Lloyd apartments has been great so far. Jocelyn in the leasing dept was so helpful in making the process as smooth as possible.

I am honestly so exhausted by the roaches. I've lived here for a little over a year and have had treatments done over 10 times. It unacceptable. We keep a spotless home, vacuum and wipe things down regularly, all of our food stays in sealed containers. We spray store bought pesticides on a regular basis and to no avail. They will be gone for a month or two and then start to show up again. I seriously can't do this anymore, it's disgusting.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Sadly these apartments are infested with mice. These apartments have the WORST LEASING OFFICE WORKERS. If the ladies attend to your call, set your self ready for not being able to talk. The lady at the leasing office talks over you and makes it so hard to communicate. They are so unfriendly and totally rude. Do not live here. These apartments are horrible. Even being able to put a maintenance request is such a hassle since they take so long to even fix whatever you need to get fixed in your apartment. They just “updated” their parking spaces which are basically filled with cars and you’ll barely be able to find a spot. Just wish we could get better customer service but seems like the leasing office totally doesn’t care but would rather get their deal in putting you in an apartment with useless amenities like the laundromat. The lady basically was no help when I told her I had an issue with the laundromat eating up my money and was no help. You’ll basically have to fight for the leasing team to hear your concerns. All they care about is taking their money and getting paid.

I lived here from 2010 to 2015 and always knew that I would be back if I had the chance to return. When that time came, I worked with Ingrid to find a unit that fit my budget and moving timeline. For three months, Ingrid consistently updated me on available units and eventually found one that fit my needs. But the family living in the unit decided to delay their move due to COVID (totally understandable). However, Ingrid quickly worked to find me another unit at a reduced price. It is clean, quiet, sunny, and beautiful. I love having this view from my desk as I work from home everyday. I would gladly recommend Lloyd Apartments to anyone. It might not have all the bells and whistles of newer apartments in the area, but it's a steal for us frugal, no-fuss folks who want to live in the heart of the city without going broke. And the management/maintenance team are top-notch. Definitely worth a look!
