Lickinghole Creamery & Gifts

Was craving ice cream and found this spot through a Google search. It's a bit off the beaten path (at least I thought so) in a little strip mall. There weren't too many flavors to choose from. The ice cream wasn't homemade but at least from a local farm. There's a good variety of waffle cones - traditional and chocolate batter. With both having different options of sprinkles. The shop seemed to focus more on its General Store items that were available. Bathroom: They have one single use bathroom. Didn't seem completely clean and was a tad cluttered. Nor was there a changing table (but then again this isn't the shop/restaurant you'd be spending a long time in).

Wow! So it's official...I will never be going back to coldstone ever after eating here. Not only was the ice cream incredible but the gentleman behind the counter was fantastic and let us sample almost every flavor since it was our first time there. I got black raspberry and strawberry. Absolutely perfect on a warm summer day. Will 1000% be back!

Nice local place with some very good ice cream as well as plenty of gifts. Worth checking out if you live in the area!

Cute ice cream and country store! The staff is very enthusiastic. Tasty ice cream straight from the farm and they have almost every type of topping you can think of.
