Went to get Xbox repaired. There was no visible sign of damage on hard drive and he claimed it was hard drive issues due to water damage even though water has never been anywhere near the Xbox. I had a 500gb harddrive and he replaced it with a 365gb harddrive without telling me and charged me €90 for the repair. Maybe this was just a once off but I won't be returning to this repair shop.
I brought my ancient MacBook Pro to wonderful guys at LaptopLab asking for a system update. I wasn't expecting miracles, just the newest possible OS whatever it may be, we talked about getting Catalina, but next day when I came to collect my laptop it turned out to have Big Sur OS :D and I couldn't be happier. 10/10, fantastic!
After an initial assessment, Evandro quoted the repair to my laptop at around 290 euro. I needed the computer for work, so I agreed. However, he did some additional troubleshooting and was able to fix it for only 100, and he had it ready to pick up the morning after I dropped it off. I would happily have paid 190 more than he ended up charging, and my laptop is running perfectly again.
Brought my mother's laptop in on Tuesday after spilling a drink on it. They were very professional on first meeting, even warning me of the possibility of it being irreparable but taking a look anyway. They kept me updated as they worked on it for the next couple of days and then had it good as new by Friday. Fantastic service, very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend.
Recently had trouble with my laptop which wouldn't hold charge. These guys took it in, ordered a replacement battery which turned out to be faulty. Got another one and got me back up and running for a super reasonable price. They kept me informed all along. Gave me back my laptop while waiting for the parts. And were incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. Definitely happy to recommended them to anyone.
