Great hostel would recommend when wanting to check out a different part of Tenerife. Staff are laid back and friendly Equipped kitchen Free coffee / tea Swimming pool Free parking *Road to get there is a bit hidden just keep your eyes open for the writing on the wall
Amazing hostel, one of my top favourites. The hostel is a huge house with a nice kitchen and so many comfy hangout spots. But the real gem is the people. I felt so welcome and comfortable there. I ended up staying a week when I only meant to stay 3 days. It is like a home away from home.
I've been here for a week now and have booked another one straight away. The team that works here welcomes you with a warmth and friendliness that I have rarely experienced anywhere else I have stayed. They have great tips on what you can do in the area, whether hiking, surfing or cultural events. The house itself has an idyllic garden where you can recharge your batteries and relax before the next adventure. The location is perfect for trips around the entire island, especially the beautiful mountain and coastal landscapes in the north of the island. All in all, I can only recommend a stay at Lagarto!

I stayed in this hostel for a month and a half, where I felt like I was at home, and it was very difficult to leave. The combination of a stunning garden and exceptional staff made it a standout choice for me seeking a peaceful and welcoming environment. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. It's the perfect place to unwind, connect with fellow travelers, and create lasting memories. The plan to stay just one night turned into 10 days. That speaks for itself. It was a great family atmosphere with a super nice owner and wonderful volunteers who have become friends.
