Everything about this room was disgusting. The floors looked and felt like they have never been cleaned. The sheets & mattress of both beds had stains all over it. The pillows were dirty, too. The only reason we stayed here was because it was dog-friendly & we were just there for a night. However, I would NOT recommend staying here.
First and foremost, this place was awful! The sheets and bedding were dirty, toilet dirty, shower and floors disgusting. My husband went to the front desk and asked for a set of clean sheets and pillowcases. That was my salvation. Shame on you Wyndam!
I'm not spending my money here anymore. I checked in at 0300 and was looking forward to getting some sleep before hitting the road again. I got very rudely woken up by the cleaning staff pounding relentlessly on my door like the police. I thought some emergency was happening and answered the door half naked. To my disgust, it was just the cleaning staff wanting to know when I was leaving so they could clean the room. It was 0850. Check out is 1100 everyone knows that. I brought it up to the front desk at check out. The manager wasn't onsite, so the front desk called them. I was told, " Even though maintenance staff shouldn't be doing that so early, it's an outdoor property, so they can't guarantee noises won't wake you up." what a ridiculous answer. Beneath the usual quality of a La Quinta I think. I won't be giving this location my money next time I roll through there.
Quite frankly just bad. Was much cheaper than other hotels nearby and for good reason. First room had hairs on the bedsheets and was uncomfortably damp. Requested a second room and found more hair. Outside walkways smelled like piss. Luckily no bed bugs in either room for us but frankly would not be surprised if others found some
BED BUGS!!!!! It was late and my family and I were tired, noticed one bug on my pillow and flicked it off. Gross, but I was too tired to care about any moth or spider that was in the room. When we woke up we saw 3 more of the same kind of bug. We looked up what bed bugs look like and lo and behold, it was that bug. Not sure if my family and I now have them with us, but one of my family members has some bites on her legs. The workers were nice enough, maybe not helpful though. Do not stay at this place. The room looked nice, but upon closer inspection it looked like the room hasn’t been any sort of deep cleaned in months. People obviously live here and they aren’t quiet or friendly. Avoid this place if you can.
