Immediately upon first bite I felt myself wanting to throw up. I ordered a chicharron burrito … 1 it was cold and 2, the fried pork was SOGGY. They gave me straight fat.I’ve eaten chicharron so many times And it’s always been crispy and fresh. They literally gave me lard. I’m so disgusted.
Just discovered this place after working just down the road for years. Had a burrito yesterday that was fabulous and went back today to try the Birria Tacos. They were so good! I got 2 Asada and 2 Al Pastor. The girls working there are super nice as well. Highly recommend checking them out!
I honestly have to say hands down La Cocina has the best Mexican food in Ocala, Florida at awesome prices and their Birria Tacos are to die for 🤤 Most people are sketchy about eating from a restaurant inside a gas station but I’m telling you once you try them you will be back for more and you definitely won’t regret it. And for those of you who aren’t fans of Mexican food they have lots of varieties of other foods from chicken, gizzards, bbq and even empanadas. They also have delivery for those of you who don’t drive or are just to lazy to drive. But I can promise you one thing you will absolutely love them… just ask my husband Julio he has become a regular there ❤️ So try them out today and enjoy some of the best food you’ve had in awhile and some of the best customer service as well. So many ways to order from online, over the phone, Grubhub or even text it’s definitely convenient and easy.
OH MY GOD THEY HAVE THE BEST BIRRIA TACOS. It's located in the gas station, I got 4 birria tacos for $15 (great price) and the food was ready in literally 5 minutes and it was PACKED with the most tender meat and the tacos by themselves were already tasty but dipping it in the stew made it SO MUCH MORE DELICIOUS it was so juicy and flavorful. I've been to several other taco stands in Ocala looking for the best one AND THIS ONE IS IT. The gas station also has a lot of Mexican snacks, I would give this place 6 stars if i could, definitely stop by.
I ordered thru doordash at 6:02am or so to have it delivered, order was accepted, doordasher arrives and after few minutes text it me that it was closed. I call the number and they told me it they open at 7am, had to cancel to get my money back. Fix your hours on the app or the store and DO NOT ACCEPT orders from doordash if you are closed.
