My first experience with this place wasn’t too bad. In fact, it was fairly good however, the second time I went to these people I was met with the incompetence of one of their employees who is completely in capable of listening to what I was needing and fixing the situation I spent around $1000 initially on my electric bike getting some tires with the tire guard kit installed on the girl that helped me and I can’t remember her name but she was very very rude she would not listen to what I was trying to say and kept putting words in my mouth. Now I’m having another issue with the most expensive tires that they carry plus the tennis tire guard which is a good product from I had a flat last night And I reached out to them, of course without failure they immediately blame the situation. I may not taking responsibility for their incompetent employee whatever happened to the customer is always right, especially the customer that spent thousands of dollars I would suggest when you if you go to this bicycle shop that you avoid there mediocre and competent employees and ask for the manager

Maybe my expectations are too high because I used to work at a bike shop… But long story short, Mike (or Mark?) was rude to my fiancée, insulting about our build and not only charged more than Rachel quoted us but also looked for every opportunity to charge me as much as possible for the most remedial of things. The icing on the cake was not when he suggested I’m a liar when I told him the charges don’t match the quote I was given but when I arrived to pick the bike up and discovered not only was the wheel he charged me to true NOT trued but also the stem was not even aligned with the front wheel. I could go into more detail but you get the point, use another bike shop and save yourself the headache.

Mark at Kyle Cyclery has done quality work on two bikes for me and was happy to answer questions and give advice about how to address similar issues on my own, which is especially valuable since I live about an hour from the nearest bike shop. I would definitely go back to him for service and repairs in the future.

Attention to detail and amazing customer service. The staff there really get to know you and your needs. They recommended and special ordered a bike for me I never would have considered - now 9 months later, I can say it's the best bike purchase I've ever made. Highly recommend. If you're in Austin it's worth the drive especially at their new location right off I-35.

My favorite bike shop in the Austin-ish area. I've taken bikes in for minor repairs, for major work, and even weirder personalized requests...and they've done it all with a fun attitude and always shockingly fast. Love these guys. Stop reading reviews and just take your dang bike here.
