This slime ball took advantage of my 83 year old dad. Selling him annuities he didn't understand. When I informed Elliot about Dad's early dementia, he said as long as he knows his name and birthdate, I can sell him anything I want! Stay away from this arrogant piece of garbage!
Fantastic experience! I’ve taken on new clients and was a bit overwhelmed sorting multiple contracts. Ali was wonderfully helpful, as was Elliot! Will be using them going forward.
I have been getting my taxes done for 4 years Kreppel Tax Advisory Group The staff and Tax Preparer are amazing. The turnaround time is very quick, and feel is reasonable.
If I could give them a minus rating I would. They are non-responsive and I think extremely unprofessional. I have had so many problems with them. First, when they completed my return for 2021 they didn’t look at the papers very closely, they did not take into account that I had a rollover of asset. They had me owing $124,000 in taxes. Return had to be re-done. I can assume that no double checks or review of the returns are completely. Next, they never filed my NJ return until I called, months later, that I hadn’t received my refund. I was set up for quarterly tax payment, which I did not request nor need. Then Elliot spent his time trying to convince me into buying his investments. Then happily took my check. Hence my 2022 tax return was filed by a different firm. Now I get a letter from the IRS that part of my 2022 refund, was reduced to pay for some issue with the 2021 filing, by Kreppel. Here is the interesting part, I emailed copies of the letter to Alexandra Chimel on May 25th. She promised to get right back to me. She didn’t. I have been emailing her to see if there was a resolution. Finally I called on June 2nd left a message for Alexandra, she was with a client, I was assured she would call me back that day. No call back, I called again and was told she is with a client, it is 3:15 and they go home at 5:00 so she won’t call me until Monday, I was promised. Monday I didn’t receive a call so I called they had me on hold for , over 15 minutes just to tell me guess what, “she is with a client can’t talk to me “ and that they are going to forward this issue to someone else, to who? I still don’t know. It is very frustrating when you have a problem but the only one you can converse with is the receptionist and she doesn’t know anything. Now I am force to take legal action, and write this review. If only they called me back it could have been so much easier. They seem good, UNTIL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM !
I am devastated by my tax bill. I foolishly agreed to use their services without a clear understanding of their fees. My 19-year-old daughter who earned but $11,000 last year is charged $378 for her completely SIMPLE return. How outrageous?! My fiance was charged $375 for a relatively easy return. My return, which is the most complicated of all with 2 rental properties, was $189. I do NOT recommend their services & am GRAVELY disappointed in their services. What a rip off! Next year I'm going to AJC who came recommended by another friend. They charge $199 flat fee with 2 states. Wish I'd gone there this year. Sigh.
