Jonesboro Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine

Jonesboro ortho has many people who highly recommend them. I cannot be one of them. I saw them to discuss right knee and we agreed it needed replaced when I was ready that was a good appointment… had a accident that resulted in injury to left knee on may 5 it was horribly painful swollen and sleep with it was impossible finally got appointment at Jonesboro ortho told them about the dog knocking me off high porch and injuring knee causing me horrible pain unable to sleep because no way to position leg where it wouldn’t hurt … called office more than once; after 8 weeks they finally ordered mri . Mri revealed fractured tibia torn an frayed meniscus. When called by ortho office with report they suggested wheelchair for 6 to 8 weeks or brace . I chose brace which was like putting my leg in a torture chamber … …. Insurance paid for specialist I saw nurse practitioner but still paid my 40 plus for specialist visit …. Only thing I asked for was a mild pain pill so I could get relief so I could get some sleep she said they don’t give pain meds unless one has had surgery the worst I have ever been treated in my life .. I wondered if it’s because I’m a older person … I don’t know but I will never set foot in that office again!!!!

The visit went well! Wait time was about 10min, staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable! I was in and out in less than hr, which was fantastic considering everything I had to have done. Dr. Haughty was nice caring, and compassiate! all the things you need in any doctor. My foot already feels better. Go here they won't disappoint.

I've been a patient here for years now. Dr Dickson is the one who always puts me back together when I have a fall and break myself. He's amazing,very caring, understanding,listens to his patients and their concerns, and will do what he can to help. I have also seen Dr Michael Haughey and he's awesome as well. Dr Michael Haughey is just as caring and listens as well. I will only go to this facility because of how they are with their patients.

My mother has been seen a couple of times here and have had a 50/50 experience with staff. Some nurses are just very stern and unfriendly. My mother was scheduled today to get gel injections and Dr. Fisher came in to see her and discuss options and was very worried/concerned about pricing and not worried about how much she actually needs them. I had discussed her being a self pay patient and had talked to the billing department about setting up a payment plan and was told Yes about 4-6 weeks ago and today they changed their mind and I offered half down today and the rest on a payment plan but still got denied. Unpleasant experience for self pay patients, would not recommend even If you try to arrange payments according to your budget.

We’re a bit busy but I know they’ve got a heavy workload. They’ve helped me alot & was in & out fairly reasonable considering how busy it was
