Amazing hair dressing salon! Highly recommend

Talk about a hair transformation. I began to grow my hair out but had no idea how to look after or maintain it. I did not realise my hair was even curly or how terribly dry it was. JW took my hair under his wing, treated it, gave me a full shampoo, conditioning and treatment protocol to bring it back to life and taught me how to look after and maintain it. Now I have the best set of curls and love my hair for the first time in years. I love coming in for my hair appointments now, Jono has given me such confidence in my appearance and I cannot thank him enough.

Alana did my hair yesterday for a wedding and absolutely nailed the brief. I got so many compliments and the best part was it actually lasted all day (and night!). I’m writing this the next morning and normally I can’t wait to wash it out, but it still looks that good I’m leaving it for round two. I’ve taken the pins out and the curls are still holding beautifully. Such a great job she definitely deserves the recognition.

I hate doing this… I would much prefer to gatekeep this salon of talent! I stepped in crying with despair following a horrific hairtastrophe and walked out crying with happiness. Alana worked her magic and saved me from a Britney-style shave-your-head meltdown. Absolute hair wizardry!!! I have found my hair happy place!!!

The whole salon was full of laughter and so many long term clients, it’s not just a hair appointment going here is an experience. So glad I have found my new home for my hair in the hills!!

Recently had a curly cut and full head of highlights done by Hayden. I’m super pleased with how my hair turned out, and Hayden made sure to update me on time frames and aftercare to ensure my hair stays looking healthy. The service here is amazing and the staff are super attentive. Would definitely recommend coming here :)

Alana is a gem! She’s professional, very skilled and also very warm and friendly. I always trust her in giving me the best advice and suggestions and know that she will always make my hair look the best possible. The salon has the best vibe and everyone is so lovely!

One of the best haircuts I’ve had in ages. Hayden listened to what I wanted but also helped guide me to what would suit my face shape and hair. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting a gorgeous haircut, especially if you are looking to make a big change!

Its been an absolutely amazing experience on my first visit. Hayden handheld me throughout the evening from the time I stepped in with a warm welcome, his expertise and professionalism has been exceptional. For the first time ever, I walked out of a salon with the exact result I’ve been hoping for! Jonathan and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. So happy with my experience from the team at Johnathan Ward! As soon as I came in I was welcomed and offered tea. Everyone was so lovely even though I was running late. Alana was the first hair stylist I have been to who so easily picked up on exactly the style I was after and gave lots of great advise on haircare. She also made sure I was happy with the final finishes for my "bangs" and adjusted length accordingly. They also use silicon and sulfate free products only. Everything is done and with care which made it so easy for me. Will definitely be returning for my next cut/colour
