I ordered Salt & Pepper chicken for my son and popcorn shrimp for me. Normally, the food is good. In fact, I have been eating at J&J wings and seafood for years but at the Port Arthur location. Today, the food was extra(too salty) I could feel my blood pressure getting high by the headache that started. I'm not sure what the seasoning problem was today, but I was not pleased.
FOOD MADE TO ORDER!!! So fresh and hot and worth the average wait time of like 12-15 minutes. not skimpy on the portions, jumbo shrimp so good!!! SEASONED WELL. one very kind man working behind the counter so be nice and patient but sooo good.
Love their fish and fries has really good flavor. Second time eating here.
This is a hidden gem! I pray for longevity 🤤🤤 . Its inside of a gas station yet you'd never know. This place deserves to be a stand alone yet can be tucked away . Shout out to the owner and cook!! The salted pepper way is to go... okra...wings...catfish..shrimp
The food was delicious. The fish was properly seasoned. The wings were hot and to my taste. The fries were delicious but they went overboard with the chili flakes.Enjoyed my meal here. Only problem I had was that they didn’t have the list of drinks they had on the online orders.
