Do not trust the Nurse Practitioner she currently has on staff. I have a cardiac issue that is urgent and had to speak to this inept practitioner who gave me "yes" answers to everything I wanted to hear. I discover today that she disregarded much of what I had said to her, delaying my procedures. What I found out today informed me that this NP could care less if I got well and received the appropriate specialist for my need. Given that I trust Dr. Thakur and believe in her ability to provide me care, I was blinded when dealing with this NP, and putting my health in jeopardy. The individual in question works at both the 29 Palms office and the Rancho Mirage so opt out of any assistance from her to be on the safe side. There is at present only one NP. I really would not have shared my experience and also going forth with other means of reporting her, if she would have spoke to me on the phone as I had requested and took accountability. I did my part, good luck.
I used to go to Indus Medical. My opinion, this place is a joke. I believe one of the reasons they have a high rating is because the employees are writing some of the reviews. Ex. CW is a nurse practitioner who works there. Suggestion - if you are having problems reaching them dial a *67 before you enter the office number.
The girls sitting at the office take way too long. I’ve been back and forth waiting to get vaccine shots and literally something that should take 5-10 mins ends up taking over 50 mins.Mind you these are regular vaccines not the Covid one .These girls literally just sit there I’m sure going on Facebook acting like there busy. Terrible
Refused to fill a non addictive standard medication prescription for me that I've taken daily for four years while I was out of state without me going in for an appt at their office. Its not the law, it's their office policy so they can charge you for another doctor visit. Had to find a new doctor while traveling so I didn't suffer severe and dangerous side effects from stopping the medication cold turkey. - even non doctors know stopping suddenly can be life threatening.. They should be ashamed of themselves. They also charged me $50 for the free vaccine AND getting a hold of anyone in their office is a nightmare in and of itself. I highly suggest finding another doctors office.
