Il Ferro e il Fuoco

I chose the restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the garden in which we dined, secluded and silent, the sublime cuisine and above all the attentive and professional staff made everything truly perfect. The maitre Daniele is present and ready to satisfy every request from the guests together with the rest of the staff. Excellent destination for those who want to spend a relaxing and romantic evening in the heart of Rome.

Phenomenal service in a romantic venue that’s still family-friendly and serves great food. Rome has a lot to offer, but so does Il Ferro e il Fuoco: only the very best.

Service was good. But tasting menu is gastronomical disaster. It is an insult to Italian cuisine.

Tucked underneath the gorgeous Donna Camilla Savelli hotel in Trastavere, this hidden gem is worth finding. Ttry the creamy risotto, or inhale the aroma as a slice of beef cheek is revealed beneath a glass dome pumped full of smoke! Then stick around for a delightful assortment of traditional desserts (our favorite cannoli in all of Italy was served here). To top it off, the service is warm and friendly. If you're lucky, you'll get Giorgia! Thanks, Giorgia!

Great location, marvelous food, fantastic service. I liked every minute in this sober, elegant restaurant inside one of the beautiest hotels in the city. Highly recommended.
