It Was Amazing
This Hotel is located about 600 meters from Ramanathaswamy Temple east entrance. We are a family of 14 people on a pilgrimage tour. After a lot of research on the hotels near the main temple I have booked 5 rooms, 3 Superior Triple Bedrooms and 2 Deluxe Double Bedrooms in this hotel. Rooms are comfortable. Looks like the hotel is recently renovated/ refurbished. The interiors and bedding are in good condition. Bathrooms are decent size and the fittings in good condition. Overall it is value for Money. The Staff is cooperative and the service is good. The rooms and bathrooms are kept neat and tidy. We had dinner (vegetarian food) at the Hotel restaurant, taste of the food is excellent. The complimentary breakfast is good.
This is a bad experience I faced with the booking of the Hotel- M/s SDM Golden Tower Residency. We had booked two rooms and were forced to cancel travel due to unforeseen medical and family member loss reasons. The hotel team had denied the date change and cancellation of rooms. The booking was done through the Makemytrip app. Around 10K loss had happened to me which is a high loss for a common person like me. This is just a piece of information for individuals who try to book and kindly note the experience that we had, so that in future if anyone trying to do please cross-check several times regarding the booking policy and please don't fall into such money looting mechanisms.
We had booked for 2AC rooms(3and 4persons), and the rooms were good. The only issue we noticed with the room- Water leaking from the ceiling. With the service regarding ordering from your room: Just ordering a tea took 40mins to deliever. The Restaurant downstairs was comfortable and had good food. Location: Just 5 Minutes walk from the temple. Verdict: Go for it. Its worth it.
Service Was Good Loved The Stay
Had a great experience staying at SDM Golden tower. It was smooth process, starting from early check-in, good food at the restaurant, polite house keeping staff. Manager Kannan went extra mile to organize the cab local travel at best price and guided the whole visit. Rooms are clean as well. Cannot forget the best experience in a hotel where there was a heavy in-flux of tourists during the weekends.
Very great experience and comfort stay. We stayed for 2 days with our family with elder parents and kids. Rooms are very neat and clean. Delicious south Indian food. All the staffs from the front desk and the restaurant are very supportive and polite in all the aspects. Especially the Restaurant staffs are very supportive for all of us to provide the required food, beverages even before and after the opening & closing time as per our needs. Overall we all had a very nice experience here. Very highly recommended for staying with family for a comfortable stay, this hotel is the best place to choose.
Super staffs behaviour
It's my first time that I am giving someone a 5 start rating as I see no problem in this hotel. The staff is very knowledgeable and hospitable specially the restaurant head, he is such a nice guy so polite and hospitable. The rooms I got were awesome! Everything is great about this hotel. It is not that big that you can roam around but you don't even want to roam around as the rooms were so good, also the breakfast is complementary and the hotel is near the rameshwaram temple. I say it's the best hotel to stay in rameshwaram, only positive vibes!
Overall an average hotel. Rooms are smaller but manageable. Washroom were cleaned only smoke smell comes from surrounding area. Easily accessible via lift. No view as it is surrounded by low rise buildings. Services was ok, what we asked was given. But in complementarity breakfast they are very stingy and particular. Very limited quantity. Lunch and dinner food quality was fine not bad not very great.
Good hotel with budget tariff and in house restaurant.. very organized staff and everything was well set when we were entering room itself. We took 4 bed family suite room and oils, shampoo, soap, dental kits, towels and everything was placed in the room and no need to ask anything at all.. check-in were quick and easy.. food was nice with complimentary breakfast.. lunch and dinner was also good. Overall a very peaceful stay.. only thing I felt lacking was parking facility due to the busy road outside.. not sure whether they have a parking elsewhere though as driver was taking care of those things.. Highly Recommend !!
Stayed here 2 days/1 night. Pros : 1 : They allowed early checkin as it was available. 2 : Food served was tasty. 3 : Mobile signal works decent around hotel. 4 : Around 300 meters walk to the temple. 5 : Very friendly front desk and restaurant staff. 6 : Parking is available for around 3-4 vehicles. Cons : Didn't find any.
Awesome Stay. We made a last minute booking at this Hotel as it is very close to the temple and it was the best decision. The rooms were very clean, decent size, free breakfast was very tasty, and the staffs were very respectful and helpful. The hotel also has a pure veg restaurant by the reception. Tasty food with good price. Highly highly recommended this hotel if you have high standards but a low budget. Will definitely book again for my next stay.
