Wouldn’t let me return my lease, but Honda of DTLA let me return it no problem. I was standing by the desk and heard a salesman who was very aggressive and went to another rep saying “could you not be stupid” and proceeded to let his aggression take control while I was standing at the same desk he was.
STAY AWAY! This place is the perfect example of a bait and switch SCAM DEALERSHIP. They will waste your time and lie to your face to sell a car. I called into this location on Thursday and Friday to confirm the kind of car I want and our exact budget. The lady I spoke to confirmed that she had asked her manager, William and we were close to making a deal. Our budget was $500 a month and he said to come in to close the deal. I explained I live in Los Angeles with 4 small children and do not want to spend my Sunday coming all the way to Van Nuys if we do not have a deal. William again said that yes, we are very close to the $500 deal and I should come into the dealership to do the paperwork. Once we get there, they said that there was confusion and the deal for the same exact car was going to be $650 a month! I am more upset about the fact that they so blatantly lie just to get you through the door despite the inconvenience it is for the customer. I will never do business here again. THANKS FOR RUINING & WASTING MY ONLY DAY WITH MY KIDS TO HEAR YOUR LIES.
It’s quite difficult to get an offer from van Nuys. They kind of give you the run around and say “send us your best written offer”. Can’t blame them I guess in the environment where they feel they can call the shots. The sales people simply send lazy emails as such. Even when the market improves for the buyers, I’m likely going to another dealer that would respect my time by giving me a written offer.
Amazing experience purchasing my first car -- the new Honda 2023 HRV! Matt went above and beyond helping me out to choose the best car for my budget. I went there with my mom and he was very patient with us and thoroughly explained the different options we had. This was a big decision for me as I just moved to LA and I'm glad I was able to go to Honda Van Nuys and meet Matt to make the purchase! The manager was really nice as well and everyone there seems to be friendly and professional.
