My 3 years with Dovida have been very rewarding working with the elderly,being there for them and helping with there challenges through life,love listening to their stories when they were growing up and having their family's and the tough times they want through especially coming from overseas when they were little and the challenges to achieve their goals. The team of dovida are always there for you to support you .The courses you arrange for us are so rewarding and I learn a lot.Dovida is such a family base company I even got my mother down south with you and she is always telling me the carers are fantastic to her.thankyou you Dovida.🙏

For the last 5 years I have been an employee (carer) for the Dovida family (formerly Home Instead). It has been a most rewarding experience for me. Dovida has looked after & supported me through great times & rough ones. My clients that I had were just beautiful. Caring for the elderly is just the best feeling & the staff at Dovida gave me all the training & learning that I required to be able to full fill my role. Dovida is not just a company, it’s a family. I would encourage anyone looking to get in home care for an elderly person to please give Dovida a call. They were certainly my work family for all my time there. 🌸

The team at Dovida are professional, supportive and dedicated to not only providing outstanding care to the clients, they genuinely care about their employees and team of carers. They are my grandads care providers. Absolute gold standard from the team. Easy comunication. 24/7 emergancy line for assistance. Their package managers make organising anything so easy. The carers are top quality, always helpfull and super nice. They have been a crucal part in making grandads end of life journy more comfortable and supported in every way imaginable. There are plenty of bad providers. This provider is an absolute dimond in the rough.

I am very confident that I can continue to live independently in my community with such very skilled and warm CareGivers available. I admire every single person in the organisation. BEWARE. Ripped me off as NDIS client by charging for items not in the Service Agreement. Amounted to fraud ~$60k. This left me unable to get physio, OT etc critical to my health and a rapid decline thereafter. Complained to company and the attitude was APPALING. They canceled contract on Friday afternoon, effective immediately, without notice to the family. Abandoned a vulnerable person with dementia & broke back who needed overnight care after they pillaged what they could, without any alternatives. NDIS Commission complaint lodged. Also underpaid carers. Zero stars!!! This account is genuine and has not been hacked. Home Instead/Dovida cannot handle the truth about their rotten corporate culture exploiting vulnerable people. They committed fraud.

Hi, Percy & I are very happy with all the help we are getting through Daviada. Craig our cleaner comes every Monday and does the cleaning in our house and does a good job. Meals we get from Light & Easy and also Top Notch also as we like certain meals from the both. Our gardener does a great job which is about every fortnight & less in winter. We are waiting for our new beds which we hope won.t be to much longer. All the staff who we talk to are very good and always helpful with anything we want to know about so thank you for all that you do for us. Ruth& Percy Benson

From the first time we engaged with Dovida representatives Alison and Chanel, they have been nothing short of caring, empathetic, helpful and very resourceful. These ladies have made things so streamline and actually take the time to listen to my mother in law and father in law's needs. Highly recommend as I personally we not through over 40 providers and we narrowed down to 3, including Dovida. We know as a family we have made the best decision with choosing Dovida from the compassion these 2 ladies show. From the family ladies, we would like from the bottom of our hearts sincerely thank you for all you do.

In my career as a carer it is not just a job. It is not only a privilege, but an honour to care for the elderly who are nearing the end of their life’s journey on earth and who are in need of some assistance along the way. It was our elderly generation who paved the way for us - they went through wars, depression, hunger, poverty floods. And they did it for us to live a better life to have our freedom so it’s our responsibility to care for them, love them and cherish them. we need to take special care of them now before they become the past.

Our elderly Dad had a car accident recently and ended up at SCU, so we had to make a lot of decisions quickly and under stress. Enter Liz from Dovida at Birtinya...she has known our family for a year or so and always been very professional, knowledgeable and helpful about making the best decision for Dad. Then more recently she has gone above and beyond to quickly and efficiently liaise with the hospitals and help us understand all the options for Dad, about whether to go home or go to respite. In short, she was a marvel in a crisis and we couldn't be happier with her support.

My husband has used Dovida, formally Home Instead for the last 4 years.and we have found the carers used are wonderful. Staff have always been good as well with communications regarding Bobs care. Hopefully he can get a few extra hours come November 1st and the fees don’t eat up any leftovers, I would recommend Dovida if you are looking for a provider. 😊
