Just ordered a pizza, medium half cheese half sausage and banana peppers… it was $20 for a 12in pizza that I would say is a 4 out of 10… do yourself a favor, order from anywhere else. (Filippou’s, Kingstown pizza, even Exeter pizza is better - all MUCH better value) I should say, this review is not a reflection on the staff or customer service.
Recently tried this newer pizza shop located in the emporium which is just off of URI’s campus. If you're willing to drop a Lincoln on a single slice, go for it! Just be prepared to have a mini-heart attack when you see your bill. All in all, High 1 is definitely good and worth a try, just maybe skip the chicken bacon ranch if you're on that college life budget.
The pizza is actually horrible. There’s a weird smell to it and it’s incredibly greasy. The pizza tastes funky I don’t even know how to explain it. For 5$ a slice I expected better. The people who work there are very kind tho.
First of all, the cheese to sauce ratio is excellent. Crust is one of the best in town, and the veggies are cooked to perfection. The slice doesn’t quite hold it’s own, but the taco method is a quick and easy solution. Overall, I was very satisfied with my first bite (everyone knows the rules) and I will definitely be coming back for more.
This is some incredible pizza! You've got to try it. I ordered a takeout medium pizza with cheese, sauce and pineapple. It's my new favorite in the area, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for Pizza around URI. It's fresh and thin with a nice doughy crust. A lot of times after eating pizza I feel gross, and this pizza didn't do that to me at all. It wasn't greasey, it was very well cooked. The ratio of ingredients was total perfection. I will absolutely be returning for all my pizza cravings, and recommending to all my friends!
