HG Dulwich Village

Extremely terrible terrible service! All I wanted is lovely blond highlights and they have made my hair orange !! Then put more bleach to fix it and ended up with bright yellow egg like colour! Awful staff and experience ! Clearly did not see there is a problem and they were so rude to me. I was in tears and my hair are so damaged!! I tell all my friends( and friends of friends) to avoid this salon, no wonder they anre advertise free visits on Instagram , with this level of service no one would ever want to come back! So disappointed !

Once again, Renata came up trumps today and turned my unruly mop into something stylish and flattering. Renata always takes the time to understand what I'd like before she sets about making it happen. I'm always delighted with the result: it's what I hoped for, only better! Thank you again, Renata.

I’ve been looking for the perfect colour for ages. Beverley has totally got it right. Fabulous blow dry too!

A few months ago I had a gel manicure here, the beautician was really lovely but the gel polishes were all old and gloopy. She was struggling to apply the polish and tried her absolute best. There wasn't a large range of colours either so I wouldn't recommend for beauty treatments!

My first visit to HG Dulwich was a total success! I was seeking a subtle style change and Renata did a wonderful job. I will be religiously coming back!

I love Harold George. I have been coming here for my hairdressing and beauty needs since 2005. Lorraine is my stylist and Sarah my beautician. Lorraine is an amazing colourist and hair stylist and is the most senior stylist for good reason. She listens to my requirements and tweaks my colour and style whenever I want a change. Her blow dries are the best! I always feel like a new woman when I leave the salon and love that I don’t have to trek in to the centre of London to get such quality service, it’s right on my doorstep! I must mention Sarah too who is an ace beautician. I love being pampered by her and even the painful treatments don’t really hurt! Renata is also an excellent senior stylist at the salon and she is particularly expert at Updos for events. She always does something unique and I’ve loved every style she has given me for that special occasion. So all in all I highly recommend a trip to Harold George.

Extremely rude staff. Apparently bald people aren't welcome here. I found this out when the woman in charge said "Bald people aren't welcome here". The woman in charge also said "Sir, are you aware you are bald?". Surprisingly enough, I was aware of this fact. I tried to explain that some people, including myself, just enjoy the smell of people getting their hair done - it's not that weird. I have to say the towels were very smelly and the shop was dirty. I thought I was in Big Belly Brandon's room. (AKA my son's room). I'm also convinced Shirley Ballas from strictly was in the store when I visited. I love that woman. I do not love the woman in charge, she reminds me of my ex-wife, Susan.

From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by a professional and friendly team. In particular, Renata who has been cutting my hair for many years. She is a great stylist and focuses on the task in hand. Highly recommended.
