Initially I was referred to Christine Derr by a friend who had hired her to handle her divorce proceedings, however, my financial situation at the time was difficult, so she suggested for Nicole Gehringer to handle my case while she would remain oversight. Nicole has been great with my difficulty and long lasting process but in the end she was able to successfully close my case. Nicole is very professional and knowledgeable and even anticipated challenges before they occurred and was also very cautious of my legal expenses. When I got frustrated if the process taking too long and the frequent stand-stills caused by the other party, both Nicole and Christine met with me to explain what was going on and to ease my worries. I felt very much appreciated as a client and my concerns were always taken serious and were addressed immediately. Nicole was tenacious in her work and determined to bring my case to a successful ending. I highly recommend Nicole Gehringer and the entire firm of Harris, Hunt & Derr as everyone that I interacted with showed the utmost professionalism.

Very poorly run law firm, in my opinion. Attorney Nicole Gehringer turned a simple, amicable divorce into a 6 month long mess by stalling and going against the wishes of her client at every turn, ultimately refusing to represent her client any longer after taking many thousands of dollars in fees and never finishing the legal process. I find this behavior unethical and would advise others to think carefully before retaining this firm.

I have worked with the team at Harris, Hunt & Derr on two occasions. The latest one was the completion of a modified judgement of my divorce. The expertise, knowledge and planning resulted in a final judgement that was fair and better than I expected. The professionalism, individual service and attention to my needs was outstanding. I highly recommend using them. Any domestic litigation can be challenging and painful. Your attorneys should be partners. I always felt that Harris, Hunt and Derr were my partners.

Have nothing but great things to say about this law office. From the front desk to Nancy to Cory Brandfon (who worked my case specifically). These are AMAZING people and even better lawyers. I am so thankful for everything they did to make sure I was comfortable, in control and just doing okay throughout my divorce. Cory is a go-getter and wants the best for his clients.
