From the moment we walked in the door Emily greeted us and made us feel welcome as she led us to our table. She has such a kind and sweet spirit. She gave excellent recommendations and was truly personable. She GENUINELY cared about us as customers. We literally wanted to invite her to sit down and eat with us! Although the wings are fire, (you can tell that they are made FRESH right when you order them) but there's no seasoning on them. We came in for Lexington Chicken sandwich week. And the same was true about the chicken breasts. It's like they depend on whatever SAUCE or TOPPINGS are on the meat to bring the flavor, but really?! Even some salt and pepper would be nice. Five stars for service and atmosphere, but lacking in flavor for the food.

This was my third time here and I must say it's been pretty consistent. The buffalo chicken sandwich was glorious. Juicy, crispy and flavorful. They gave me a mountain of tots. No complaints. Solid selection of beer. My favorite everytime though is the sweet potato beignets. Comes with 4 dips: cinnamon sugar, a bourbon glaze, honey butter and a powdered sugar. A great treat to end the meal.

Second time here, and definitely not returning. The first time we went during the summertime to have lunch around 3-4 pm, the place was empty (of course, it wasn’t lunch or dinner time, so no big deal) and left the place wondering if we would be back. Food was ok back then, beer was good, for sure… but service wasn’t great, so we decided to try again this past Friday. Service by Donna was terrific, but we were surprised that it was 7pm on a Friday night and the place was with 3, 4 tables maybe? We ordered the beer cheese fries as appetizer, and there we had our first disappointment: fries were not crispy, “beer cheese” was just ok and presentation wasn’t appealing. For a $9 serving of fries, I’d expect something better looking and tasting. Hubby got a beer flight that was flat, not flavorful and we got the impression that the beer must had been sitting for a while . My beer was good, though. But the real deal was when we got the food: the pork in the tacos my husband ordered was super crispy and dry (it supposedly was shredded pork), and the smothered the tacos with ranch dressing; he couldn’t eat those. I had the grilled kale salad, which wasn’t too bad, but for a $15 salad that only has greens and Parmesan cheese, I’d assume I’d get at least a full chicken breast… which didn’t happen. Croutons were made of cornbread, but I believe this is a matter of personal taste: I don’t like regular croutons, and less much if they are soft and crumbly. However, I eat the rest of the salad, got our check and left. Once again, this second time service was outstanding… although we finally understood why the place was empty both times we visited. Not returning at all, and this is sad because the location has a lot of potential!

3 of us went here after a comedy show and we were so excited to eat her. The men agreed that the beer was top notch and they would just come back for drinks. But the food. Ugh. 2 of us got sandwiches with brisket on it and it was so inedible. Chewy brisket meat. It was gross. The bbq sauce was terrible. My friend was served hard, cold tator tots. My husbands brisketless burger was good and so were the seasoned fries. Our server was good. Also. It was hot as the fires of heck in their. We were all sweating. Also I got the peach tea. It was thick and gross.

Pretty good over all. Their Mac n Cheese sandwich was very delicious. I added a burger to my sandwich, which made it that much better, but it was $5 extra. Really very good, but not worth it. The patty was cooked well, but was pretty thin. Our waitstaff was also pleasant enough. I got their cider beer, which was like no other cider I've had. It was good.
