Ditto what Joseph posted. I’ve been an antique art dealer for 22 years and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with an auction house. They offer zero overseas shipping assistance. Payment options didn’t work. Was told that they don’t take overseas wires after I already tried to wire per instructions. Took two weeks to solve problem. Reddit card system failed. Slow to respond after multiple emails. And did I say they charge 30% buyer’s premium. They recommended some shipping service that was also nearly as bad. They told me on two occasions that my piece would be picked up but never happened. Slow to respond. Finally after three weeks the package was sent. Haven’t yet received. Stay away from this amateur outfit. FYI. There won’t be a next purchase.

GOLDFIELD AUCTION and Didier Sante are without a doubt the most unprofessional auction house that I have ever dealt with in twenty years of buying and selling antiques online and in person. An antique painting was purchased through their online auction on October 16th. The invoice was paid by me immediately upon receipt on October 17th. FOR THE FOLLOWING 30 DAYS Goldfield Auction ignored all of my emails and multiple phone calls regarding the status of my item and the shipment of the item. They simply don't response to any of your emails (sent to their multiple emails addresses) and they never answer the phone when you call during their normal business hours (which is only one day per week SMH). ONE MONTH LATER Didier finally respond to my emails with an email that is only one sentence long and advises me that my only option is to ship my item is with an entity known as THE PACKENGERS. This is even though he had already charged me several hundred Euro for shipping on the invoice that I had already paid on the day after the auction. The additional price charged for shipping was 3 to 4 times what DHL would have charged. The item was not packaged properly in a hard wooden crate/box as agreed to. The item was lost during transport due to a failure to address the item properly. The item finally arrived several weeks after the auction with the packing completely destroyed and the item inside badly damaged. HEY DIDIER , PLEASE TRY AND PROVIDE BETTER SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR A CHANGE. Better communication, and some professional shipping options. THANKS !

AVOID this auction house! They like to cater to international customers but do not take any responsibility for shipping. In my case they shipped three delicate items in their respective boxes but failed to make sure those items were secured safely inside those boxes. Of course two of them arrive damaged, one up to a point it may not be usable anymore. When I asked for a solution they try to blame the shipping company (Fedex) and take no further responsibility. They did not take care of the items themselves and don't want to hear about any responsibility, just hiding behind their conditions of sale in which they, of course, take no responsibility for anything. What a sore excuse of an auction house. (I'm sure they'll come back with a lame excuse on my review which will only show their inaptness).

I Was approached by Didier Sante who is affiliated with this organization, he guided me on the steps to auction one of the products on the website, the funds of 5,500 EUR was sent, however upon the completion of the auction Didier Indicated the product has been sold to someone else, they then refunded me 5,300 EUR and stated the 200 EUR Was transaction fee which will not be refunded. I dont understand why i was charged this 200 EUR when it was entirely their fault that they could not provide us with the product as promised in the first place. Totally Fraudulent Practice and will definitely dispute the charges with my CC company in regards to this.

We bid for a product through these guys, the product was then denied to us, later on we found out they were able to get a better price through some other bidder even though the Bidding had ended. This is Fraud, totally distrust-able and definitely not worth a shot with the guys. Check with Didier Sante, you will know about this. Good Luck
