Snorkelling trip to dimaniyat island. Service was great, quick response via whatsapp and we got everything that was promised to us in terms of equipment, food, etc. Of course the swimming/snorkelling with turtles was the highlight. Plenty of time given and not rushed. Highly recommended and fairly priced.
Chartered a private boat for our group in the afternoon on a whim. They answered the call, came to a good price for us, and we were off very quickly. Our driver/guide was knowledgeable of the reefs and where to find sharks, fish, and turtles. We'd be happy to use them for diving once we have more time. Thank you!
This was genuinely one of the best snorkelling experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been snorkelling and diving in over 7 Caribbean islands (including the Bahamas, Barbados, St Maarten), Turkey and Mexico, and I can honestly say that none of those experiences compare to Dimaniyat Islands. We got to swim side-by-side with the turtles and it was such a magical experience being that close to so many of them! We also got to spend an hour at each of the 3 spots we visited, so it didn’t feel rushed and I got to fully enjoy the experience and take it all in. For the third spot, we visited one of the most stunning secluded beaches I’ve seen and got to explore that area for a bit before heading back. Abdullah was very helpful with getting my mask fitted properly every time I had a mishap and he got in the water to take some photos and videos for me since I was travelling solo. I went snorkelling twice during my 10 day stay in Oman and I honestly much preferred my experience with global scuba for several reasons: this excursion was solely uninterrupted snorkelling/diving (the other tour included dolphin watching and we then had to take that group back to shore before heading back out to snorkel; in total, this took up over 1 hour of the 3 hour excursion time), we were given around 3 hours of snorkelling time (the other company gave us one hour and it felt very rushed), we were taken to 3 different spots and saw so much more marine life and TURTLES (only went to one spot with no turtles with the other company). Prices between the two differed slightly, with this one costing 5 OR more per person but I felt like I got much better value for my money with Global Scuba to be honest. Highly recommended if you love being in the water and interacting with marine life respectfully, in their natural habitat. Still not over my turtle experience, don’t pass this up if you want an unforgettable experience!
I’m speechless not only because of the exceptional service provided by Scuba, but with the experience that was much more than I was expecting! From the moment I booked until the the drop off in my hotel, they took care of every single detail. The staff was very kind, patient and helpful! The trip was definitely my best choice and I’m happy to spread and recommend it to everyone! The island is magic, as the coral, turtles, the color, temperature and clearness of the water. No words can describe! Couldn’t be better. It was my first time snorkeling and I’m excited to plan the next time asap! The equipment was very good, new and with a range of sizes, which is important. Affordable price, good food, incredible places. It is really worth it! Thank you so much, hope to see you soon
Great diving day and thanks to all the diving team, they were super professionals and funny guides. We were a big group, and we did snorkel, dive and dive baptisms in two boats. Everything was great and funny and we saw turtles, sharks, morenas... Also lots of good sandwiches and cold water were included!
