My father had a stroke and he was transferred here from the hospital for his rehab. Everyone was great and the therapist are very helpful and caring. He had a private room and good meals. 3 hours therapy daily and great nurse staff. He has progressed a lot and we are happy with the services provided
I had no complaints and if I did I addressed it. I was there almost a month. Pt and Ot I enjoyed, ALOT of the staff I truly enjoyed. Only thing I didn't like was the distance from my family. .
I was a patient there last year. All the therapists were great. That's about all I can say. The nurses made me feel like a number and a bother to them. The culture at Glancy has to change. I was a fall risk. They did not want me to get up at all, but a big inconvenience whenever I had to buzz them. What was I supposed to do? I felt trapped and couldn't wait to be released. Please, someone needs to look into this facility and the culture. It was really a bad experience. I hope someone will think twice before entering this facility.
My father is currently a patient. First let me say that the people there are very nice. The PT and OT have been great. BUT, when a patient requires rehab one of the biggest challenges can be mental. The first night I visited and brought my daughter (age 9) with me. We met 8 different nurses, techs etc. not one person said that she couldn’t be there. Tonight when we arrived again we were told that she could not visit because she was not 18. I have searched the policies on the website to find nothing about this policy. There is no sign indicating this either. They wanted me to leave her in the waiting room alone while I visited. Absolutely not!! The nurse supervisor came into my father’s room to tell me she couldn’t visit. I asked 5 different times why and she was unable to tell me. My father wants to and needs to see his granddaughter. It is critical to his recovery. If she could visit at the hospital she should be able to do the same at rehab. He now wants to go home. Mentally he is now angry and unmotivated when earlier today he was so proud of what he had already accomplished today in therapy. I’m so disappointed that patient care does not include what patients need mentally as well as physically.
An amazing group of people dedicated to helping, assisting and well being of those in need. Very professional. It is hands down the best rehab facility I've ever witnessed. Clean, individual rooms, and smells "normal"! No pee smell, no perfumed smell, just fresh and natural.
