I contacted Geering & Colyer regarding my late mothers property, of course given the circumstances these are difficult enough times already. However, I must say that the team were very helpful and efficient in ensuring that the process of it all was as easy as possible. On the valuation, Aidan was most polite and planned out the steps to take action, as this was my first time applying for probate and selling a house in many years. Very thankful to all involved.
Aidan was prompt and courteous. He came armed with evidence and analysis to back up his valuation. Very happy with the service. I would seek to do business with Aidan in the future.
Was offered a viewing appointment. Was advised by Angela that it would be with her. A few hours before the viewing I received a call from John who initially addressed me as Kirsty when he answered the phone? John was advising it would be with the Vendor and not Angela. This made me feel uncomfortable as Estate Agents and meant to be the mutual aid between two parties and right to privacy should be respected. However, when I politely suggested that this would make me feel this way, I was challenged by John and they asked ‘Why, this is standard practice’ - I have never been to see a property without an agent there and this made me feel as though I was deemed as an improper buyer with little credibility. I don’t think I needed to explain myself in this case. Communication not accurate and unprofessional in my opinion - really disappointing as the house I liked in Templeside Dover looks awesome. However, I will not go with an incompetent agent out of principal. Hopefully the seller re-advertises through another provider.
WOW! Incredible service all around, everyone in the Kearsney branch was extremely helpful with purchasing my lovely new home in Temple Ewell. I was kept up to date with the progress and felt informed at all times. I would recommend Geering & Colyer to friends and family in the local area :)
We recently sold our house in River with Aidan and his team from Geering & Colyer, Kearsney after a poor experience with another local estate agent. Aidan and his team were absolutely faultless! Not only did they sell our house within 2 weeks, something the previous estate agent failed to do in 20 weeks! But their communication was top notch, keeping us updated and informed throughout the whole process. We've now moved into our forever home, all thanks to Aidan and his team. Thank you!
Whenever I spoke to someone in the office it was a lovely man called John. John is a credit to the team and goes out of his was to help. The manager, Aidan, is kind and thoughtful with knowledge beyond his years. The whole team is professional and provide a faultless service. Not a bad word to say. Best local estate agent that I’ve used by far.
