Garrison Restaurant & Bar

Our 2nd time at the Garrison and it didn’t disappoint. Great views even though it was a cloudy day. We ordered small plates to share…beef empanada's, artichoke ravioli with an amazing cheese flavoured mousse and bread with pickled veggies. We also had a glass of 2012 Silverstream Reserve Chardonnay which paired really well with our meal. Silverstream is a winery in Denmark which we love their Chardonnay but unfortunately they are temporarily closed. But getting back to our meal, no complaints at all. Service was great, so no complaints about anything. Definitely recommend if you are in Albany.

Had a nice Valentine’s Day lunch here. The venue was nice and the service was attentive. Enjoyed the pork belly with rice which was done on an Asian flavoured soy sauce. We had sticky date pudding for desert. Would recommend. Only downside is the menu was a bit limited for lunch.

Good sharing plates! Delicious. No tap beer unfortunately, but the choice is still great. Recommended!

We had a boxing day catch-up with friends here. Due to the public holiday, minimal staff was working and it took about 10-15 minutes for seating to our table. The restaurant has a fantastic view over the port Albany. Waiter staff was nice and knowlegeful to suggest menu for us. I had stake but they did not ask how I want. It was nice but a bit over cooked more than as I like. Nasu dengaku is a Japanese dish. It was surprisingly well-cooked and had authentic flavor.

Beautiful place with amazing view, great atmosphere, lovely crew and delicious food. An average rating of 4.0 must be a misunderstanding, because this restaurant is a great place 5/5! The food was beyond all my expectations, I still think about it. If you are in Albany this restaurant is an absolute must visit, I highly recommend it!!
