The secretary is rude and not the type of person I'd want to go through. They do not advertise for you to set Apts. They say walk in available and turn you away. I drove over an hour to donate and got turned away cause of this. They will call you to come back. No thank you. I will start to look for a place honest on their website to go to with less rude workers. Thanks for O- blood many will want it.
Horrible place, tried making an appointment since you apparently need one for a first time do or, and I can only make the appointment for times between 7-2pm. Not to mention they were full and said try again tomorrow, so tomorrow comes around and 10 minutes in after 7 and they said they're all booked again for the day, how can a place be all booked already after 10 minutes of being open. Again horrible experience and someone from management needs to check this place out instead of just commenting on reviews, to go and fix the issues that are at their facility.
Before having to make an appointment, I was in and out within 1hr. Now having to make an appt, you have to wait 1-2hrs before even getting jabbed. ***Separate Appt*** appt was scheduled for 12:45. Screened at 1:23. Around 1:40 I went to my car for a blanket. Told the lady on my way out but she never said anything. But also took a few puffs of a cigarette. Came back in and another lady told me they have to cancel my appt bc I "left the bldng" after being screened and also smoked, causing my vitals to be compromised. I've never been told u can't leave the bldng. Never been told u can't smoke after being screened. And nowhere does it say in the questionnaire or poster that u can't. I will not be coming back to this place again unless they either do away with appts or compensate u for having to wait longer than maybe 30-45mins past your appt time. What's the point in having to make appts if u still have to wait 2hrs to even get jabbed smh. Worst plasma center to donate.
This place is a joke. If you’re a first time donor you can’t make an appointment. I showed up on a Tuesday at 4:20pm only to be told I couldn’t donate by the very rude receptionist. Then I was told I needed to call before coming. So I called on Thursday at 4pm only to be told I couldn’t donate because they stopped accepting new donors at noon. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7am - 7pm. I truly don’t understand what the issue is with new donors not being allowed to make an appointment but it’s a horrible way to operate a business that’s open 12 hours a day. And by the sounds of other reviews prior to mine I’m not evening going to attempt to donate at this center anymore. Do better.
Place is extra clean as it should be, staff is funny and quirky but still efficient and productive so it makes it relaxing for me at least. Bring a sweater it’s cold and you’ll feel colder possibly in the process. I have no complaints except I wish you guys had an appointment system that had rewards with it and maybe show what you’re paying on the visit online if we are loyal before driving down would be nice.I’ve been compensated well but it’s a gamble and the phones get busy so it would be nice to know before showing up 🙏🏼 that being said I’m glad I can save a life and get rewarded.I can’t always donate due to being a single parent and not having someone to watch my little one. Keep up the good work!
