Love the black pepper beef pancake in Foodao! The combo of the pancake with porridge and drink is worth it as well. Recommended! The almond soy milk is very nice!

Have you been to this incredibly convenient and delicious Chinese takeaway place? 🫣🙊 They are incredibly affordable and convenient, so you can grab a quick bite on the go. They have a range of oven-baked wheat pastries (Fooshao) and steamed buns (Foobao), alongside soups and teas. What more could you ask for? 🤩🤩 I loved their savoury 𝙺𝚞𝚗𝚐 𝚋𝚊𝚘 𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚗 𝙵𝚘𝚘𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚘, which was meaty and flavourful! Another highlight was their 𝙵𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚛 𝚃𝚎𝚊, which came in a little portable styrofoam cup set - how cute! We took it home and made delicious teas to enjoy at our leisure! ☺️☺️

I’ve gone past Foodao quite a few times now during my work lunch time and finally we got to try them! 🤩 We ordered: 🥪 Black Pepper Beef Fooshao 🥪 Korean Spicy Chicken Fooshao These 2 items were AMAZING! If you only wanna grab one item from them, definitely get one of these. They’re so tasty, generous filling, crispy outer layer and cost less than $10 ‼️ 🥟 Fried Lucky Buns 🥟 Beef & Carrots Dumplings These 2 were another ones we definitely recommend if you’re feeling something easy to eat but not going to make you feel too full. The fried goodies were sooo delicious and we’re obsessed 🤩 The dumplings were some of the JUICIEST dumplings we have ever tried 🤯 🍜 Oyster Noodle Soup 🍜 Sour & Spicy Soup These soups are the best for cold days! ❄️ The oyster noodle soup was sticky & savory, the combo texture of chewy noodle and soft oysters was nice. The sour & spicy soup is perfect to eat alternately with the fried goods to cut the fat. 🍰 Jing-Cake 🥤Soy Milk and Sour Plum drinks If you’re craving something sweet, these 3 are the options for you! The Jing-cake is something fun to try. It’s our first time trying this sweet & sticky rice cake, topped with dates & kidney beans 😋 I don’t often like soy milk but this one was nice! The flavor was a bit subtle, perfect to drink after you finished a big meal 😉 The sour plum was andrew’s favorite out of the two, as since we discovered plum drinks, he’s been obsessed with it 😂 Overall, this place is where you need to go to get cheap & delicious snacks that will fill you up for sure, we will definitely be back to try their other items 🥰

Decent food. Foodao has prominent signage up guaranteeing no more than a 5 minute wait, and if it takes longer then you get a voucher for the cost of your order. I had to wait 14 minutes for my food to be prepared, and when I pointed this out the staff refused to honour this statement and would not give me a voucher. Very disappointed in this false advertisement.
