This supermarket is clean and well stocked. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and not wilted. You can almost find anything you're looking for. All nationality food items are available. The managers special is great on items when it's available.
This store is very stocked and very clean. I've seen it change names over the years. Also, they have good prices as compared to the neighboring supermarkets... but like everything else, prices continue to rise! Still you'll find everything you need especially if your looking for carribean spices or products
I gave this supermarket 5 stars because they close at 12am which is perfect because I can go to work and still shop after without having to rush and they carry most of the brands familiar to my Jamaican culture.
I was genuinely impressed with my experience. The store was very clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which made my shopping experience even more enjoyable. One thing that really stood out to me was the freshness of the food. The produce section was fully stocked with a variety of fruits and vegetables that looked and smelled very fresh. The meat section also had a great selection of high-quality meats that were well-packaged and looked very fresh. Overall, I was very impressed with the variety of different products available at Food World Supermarket. They had everything I needed and more, including international foods and specialty items that I don't usually see at other supermarkets. In summary, I would highly recommend Food World Supermarket in Valley Stream to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well-stocked supermarket with fresh food and a great variety of products. Oh yeah and they have a lot of ethnic variety..
I've never had a problem with this market. Sometimes I avoid it because it's too crowded. Sometimes I go here to get a smaller shopping feel than the huge King Kullen. It's still large and has everything I need. The staff is not friendly but the supermarket functions as it should. It always looked clean to me. I never see workers in the aisle so definitely know what you want.
