Falmouth Bay Tailored Boat Tours

Giles is hands down the best host and provides a truly tailored experience. I was panicking because I hadn’t scheduled a boat experience on my son’s wish list and it was two nights before our vacation was ending. I phoned Giles and he scheduled us in for a beautiful late afternoon tour the following day. I discovered a hidden gem! We had a tour of coves, a secluded church on the water, a dip in the water for my boys, and even Giles had a bottle of bubbly on hand when I was lamenting that I hadn’t had time to stop and get some on the way. If you are in Cornwall or just visiting- a tour with Giles will make the day unique and memorable. It was the perfect way for our family to close a fabulous week in Cornwall. And if that isn’t enough - the story of how he named his boat the Carmen Rose will warm your heart. Thank you Giles!

An incredible charter day with Giles on Carmen Rose. Giles is super friendly and obliging. We enjoyed a champagne breakfast at Swanpool, swam to our own secluded beach, explored the creeks of the Helford River, stopped for a pub lunch and cruised back across the bay. The boat is clean, tidy, comfortable and looks amazing. The area is also beautiful, so much to see and do. All in all, it was the best day we've ever had on the water in Cornwall. If you ever get the chance to do it, you absolutely should!

I wanted to treat family vis iting and to do something different. Luckily for me I found Giles on line and booked. I have been lucky enough to have been on many boat tours. Even taking a sailing boat to the great barrier reef. What Giles gives is the personal touch. The boat is immaculate with plenty of space. We were given a guided tour of the coast then anchored up for a swim in the sea. Nothing was to much trouble. I can only repeat what a member of the family said at the end. "That is what life is about memories like that". I cannot recommend this enough. Thanks Giles for the memories you have created. Chris and family.

Had a few great days out with Giles aboard Carmen Rose. I spend a lot of time on boats with different skippers and Giles is a very competent, easy going and skilled skipper. Exploring the river and heading down the coast with a few friends is a real pleasure aboard this vessel. It’s a really different enjoyable day out & experiencing the area from the water is a fantastic experience and offers a different perspective than from land & its quicker. The boat is very stable, comfortable and fast. It has a toilet on board, seating, sun bathing area and fridge. Treat yourself and your family or get together with a bunch of friends and have a day out with Giles. I would highly recommend a day onboard.

Thank you Giles for the most amazing trip on your beautiful boat. Not having been on a boat before, you were brilliant at putting us all at ease and making us feel very safe, comfortable and happy. It was fabulous being taken to so many different inlets, beaches and all along the coast. Seeing Falmouth from the sea was awesome and eventually taking us to the fabulous Pandora Inn for lunch, was perfect. What a lovely way to spend a day. Can't wait to tell all our friends of our amazing adventure and show them all our brilliant pictures.
