I was referred here when my other eye doctor's clinic closed, and I had my first appointment today. It was scheduled at 8:15am (they open at 8am). The doctor finally made it to my room at 9:45! I'm not sure how one gets so behind first thing in the morning unless the office is over-scheduling. At one point during the hour and a half wait, I popped out into the hall just to be sure I hadn't been forgotten somehow, and the nurse I happened to speak to was just rude. When the doctor showed up she spent maybe 5-8 minutes with me and never apologized for the extreme delay. I don't make a habit of leaving poor reviews, but to me that just isn't a respectful level of care. I'm sure the doctors may well be skillful, but I found the whole experience to be really rather absurd, and I would not return here. Perhaps the office might consider making adjustments to their scheduling process, and their doctors might consider acknowledging excessively long wait times if and when they happen; I would consider that basic common courtesy.

These doctors make you wait literally hours past your appointment. Went with my partner for an appointment at 4:00 PM and we didn't get out until 6:30ish PM. This is not a one-off. Updated to add: Had an 8:00 AM appointment. Didn't see the doctor until past 9:00 AM. Your excuses are pathetic. This was the "quickest" I've ever been seen. Doctors are fine, but NOT WORTH THE WAIT! (It's also a bad sign that the lead doctor can't even spell my name correctly.)
I've had both cataract surgeries recently performed by Drr Kuhn, of Eugene Eye Care. Both went perfect. I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about the whole team @ EEC. They were ALL fantastic, before and after the surgeries. Thank you Dr Kuhn and EEC.
My experience as a patient of Dr Sabba for both cataract surgeries was excellent. The office staff and evaluation procedures were well organized as well as the actual two surgeries at the Lane Surgery Center. I believe you can trust your eye care to this professional office.
This review is for Dr. Matthew Neale and his team at Eugene Eye Care. I had an amazing ophthalmologist in Silicon Valley for 20 years, and upon returning to Eugene in 2019 I was worried that I would never find another one as good. I was so wrong. I had cataract surgery (and a Vivity lens implanted) in my left eye on Tuesday, September 13. The same procedure was performed on my right eye the following day. On Thursday evening I went to see Hamilton, and I could see PERFECTLY without my contacts or glasses. I could also read the playbill easily without having to fumble in my bag to find my reading glasses. Since then, my vision has continued to improve. Having been VERY near-sighted for as long as I can remember, this has been life changing! I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Neale and his team. From the first time I visited Eugene Eye Care for an eye exam with Dr. Thomas to my surgery follow-up with Dr. Neale this morning, I found the doctors and staff to be knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I was anxious about the surgeries at first, but by the time I showed up for the first one, I knew exactly what was going to happen, all my questions had been answered, and I was confident that everything was going to be fine. (Everyone at Lane Surgery Center was lovely as well.) Thanks, Dr. Neale and team for a great experience. I'll see you in a year!
