Erlton Family and Walk-in Clinic

Dr.Adekemi has been my family doctor for the past 2 years. She is a an excellent doctor - she was very thorough and accessible. She helped me access several Primary Care Network services. I would highly recommend her, and the Erlton Family and Walk-in Clinic.

Great experience! Walked in on a Saturday and was out in 15 minutes with a very short wait.

I love this clinic. I've seen almost every doctor here for walk in's and never have I felt such patience and compassion from family physicians. Genuinely amazing people. Wait times are 5 mins max 10 mins if you're late (know from experience lol). They just make you feel like a real person with valid concerns. Highly recommend checking this clinic out if you have experienced feeling like a "number" rather than a "patient".

My experience with Dr. Adekemi Adeyemi was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. From the moment she walked into the room, her attitude was cold, dismissive, and visibly irritated. Despite multiple appointments for the same ongoing issue and two separate ER visits she showed no concern and made me feel like a burden for advocating for my own health. When I requested to see a surgeon because my symptoms kept getting worse, she actually laughed at me and insisted it was just an ingrown hair. After my third ER visit, I finally saw a surgeon and had a 4 cm endometrioma removed. I was then diagnosed with endometriosis something she completely overlooked and dismissed. I was misdiagnosed, not taken seriously, and treated with disrespect throughout the entire process. This experience caused unnecessary pain, stress, and delays in proper treatment. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage others to seek care from a provider who actually listens to their patients.

I’m so beyond grateful for the quality of care that I’ve received from Dr Adeyemi. She’s my primary care physician and so I’ve gone to her for physicals and for a handful of health concerns (with varying degrees of severity) When push came to shove and I presented with weird symptoms that weren’t being resolved through testing, she called multiple specialists to ensure I was seen. Thanks to her, I was able to be admitted to the hospital that night and saw a specialized surgeon the next day. She is really the only reason I didn’t end up having a serious medical emergency. I cannot stress enough how impressed the team of doctors at the hospital were that she had known to push to have me seen! She is extremely knowledgeable and professional and I’m so thankful she’s the first point of contact when it comes to my health. Thank-you!!

I’ve been a patient at Erlton Family&Walk in for about a year now and have had great experiences. It’s easy to book appointments within a reasonable time frame (not waiting weeks for an open spot). Appointments are on time and efficient without feeling rushed. I also appreciate that I can walk-in if needed and see physicians other than my primary one if I need a more urgent appointment. The IDA being connected is very convenient for getting prescriptions filled quickly as well!

I had a really good experience with Erlton Family and Walk-In Clinic. Dr. Adekemi is very kind, friendly, and genuinely takes the time to listen without rushing. She explains things clearly and makes you feel comfortable and at ease during the appointment. The clinic is clean and organized, and the staff are polite and helpful. Booking and visiting has been smooth overall, and I felt well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a caring and professional family doctor in Calgary.

Dr. Adayemi is cold, dry, and won't look at you or say hi when she walks in. Not sure why she chose this line of work when she clearly doesn't like people very much lol. Appointments with her end abruptly with her placing the prescription on my belongings and calling it a day. Very dismissive person. Will be switching doctors - would not recommend. The receptionists are always lovely at this clinic though and very friendly!

Care received here has been poor and inconsistent. Simple medication refill requests are ignored for weeks. There is very little in terms of proactive medical care or periodic health assessments. It feels like the bare minimum every time I visit. Never quite terrible, but almost never good. My wife was once a patient here and had such poor experiences that she had to change clinics. Referrals that she requested NEVER materialized, without a single update as to why. He also made my step son feel uncomfortable and now even he refuses to go to the doctor, alienating a kid that actually needs compassionate medical care at this stage in his life. I’m considering going to a private clinic now just so that I can have the opportunity to feel heard. I like Moses as a person (and followed him here from his previous clinic out of loyalty) but i am absolutely at my wits end with the mediocrity of the care that I have received here. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone I know. I am a physician myself so I know what I’m talking about here… and I do not take this review lightly. Truly, I could never imagine acting this way with my own patients. Perhaps the walk-in services are decent, but I’ve never used those so I legitimately can’t comment. I also would like to say that reception staff are usually quite nice and courteous, and I feel like they try their best with what they are given (though I’ll admit that a few faxed requisitions have mysteriously disappeared over the years). The problem is unquestionably the doctors.
