I come here often as it is close by and the food is good most of the time. My issue is with the staff. The young man at the register mumbles and you can barely hear him. No hello or greetings. The lady behind him with glasses had hair hanging down beside her face making food. Why are we not using a hair net? They act like we are disturbing them when ordering. Take some customer service classes.
First time visit as I was on a trip in NJ visiting friends, and we all had a bit of a craving for pizza. We walked in at 7-8ish and we're seated immediately, our friends had a favorite booth. Our waitress was super nice, and quick to get a drink order in super quick. Now to decide on food. Pasta was popular with our table, but I was very much interested in pizza. The menu was large! And diverse! We out in some apps right away, a personal shrimp scampi pizza and crab nachos. Had our beer, played some pokemon go (there was an Espeon outside!) And the food arrived super quick! The scampi pizza was glorious, we don't have that from where I'm from (at least not yet ;D) and the waitress was quick to let us know that the cook was making it fresh. Big ups to them for being so on the ball. Drink refill and we were ready to order. I wanted their combo pie, and believe me when I say everything was great. We plowed through the apps and got our food in short order. Another hungry, buzzy, and enjoyable meal down the drain. For my time in jersey, I would just say that it was super enjoyable, your staff did an excellent job and the food was wonderful. Thank you! I really enjoyed it!
I love their food! Head chef Luis is a wonderful cook. The Iannelli family are all very sweet and all so welcoming. My mother and I would travel to Washington just to go and get some pizza or food. I had my high school graduation dinner there back in 2013 and I remember it being just as wonderful. Thank you, and I’ll always be back for more!
Oh yeah! DELICIOUS PIZZA! I no longer live in NJ, so when I come this way, I want awesome NJ pizza & This spot is perfect! Love it! Great staff as well!
It took a little bit longer to receive our order for what we ordered. But, the atmosphere is nice and the smell is extremely awesome! We ordered a pizza, Alfredo pasta dish, and some bruschetta for an appetizer. The food was awesome. The bruschetta did leave something to be desired, but overall it was quite good and the staff right from the get-go was very tentative and welcoming. I live in Northern Virginia and frequent vet area if you times a year and I would definitely go back as I definitely want to try the other items on the menu.
