Excellent service ,Staff was very nice here ,front desk was sweet to us ,loved my glasses no wonder they take a while here they adjust them to your eyesight so well ,their product is truly innovative and stand out in the market ,everyone in the reviews that are being negative about having to wait that's life for you ,you want something to get done correctly then have patience ,overall I believe this is the best place to go for glasses.
I had an outstanding experience at Edinburg Vision Center! The level of professionalism and expertise displayed by the entire team was truly impressive. I want to give a special shout-out to Israel and Ismael Delgado for their exceptional help with my lenses and contacts. They took the time to thoroughly explain my options, ensuring I was comfortable and confident with my choices. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Edinburg Vision Center to anyone looking for top-notch eye care. So I fell asleep with my contacts in by accident; I was super tired lol. Anyways, I woke up the next day in a panic! I found one contact but couldn’t find the other. I googled eye clinics open on Saturday (there are close to none apparently) since my eye doctor was closed! I went and they told me I couldn’t use my eye plan insurance, but if I had medical insurance, they would take me in; we have PPO insurance. Anyways, I waited maybe 15 minutes; I had no appointment and I’m not an established patient, but I was helped. The doctor did an eye exam, another more thorough eye exam with some machine to rule out contact fragments, flushed my eye, and gave me prophylactic antibiotics. You have no idea how much peace of mind that brought me. Thank you!
I never recommend this place. The wait times are horrid and the staff in the front are very rude individuals. My family has had bad experiences with them. Once, my partner had taken our son and realized he forgot his wallet some hours after leaving. When he returned to ask to check the room, the person at the front was adamant that there was nothing and they've checked. The person didn't budge so he left and came back some other time. This time he was able to go into the room, and lo and behold it was right under the chair. The person who "checked" either needs to set up their own appointment or just tell the truth that they didn't check instead of lie. Another experience, and the last, was when my son had an early appointment and was there till noon! When I joined my partner and our son in the clinic, they were still in the lobby! It had been about 3 hours of them waiting there and another one in the room. And still no doctor! I ended up informing the staff that we were going to leave because it's already late, and we don't have the time to just sit there twiddling our thumbs. I understand a 1 hour difference for appointments, but past 3 is ridiculous. They asked when I'd like to reschedule and I told them that I'll figure out when we have free time in our schedule to make an appointment. I never bothered trying to make another appointment because I decided to take my son to a different clinic on tenth Street. I am leaving my review as a warning to other people considering this clinic.
Terrible experience with EVC. My insurance was mishandled and blocked from my frame allowance. I was never provided an accurate out of pocket amount. Spent over an hour trying to fix this error with my insurance. Was advised that I was over charged but turns out to be that I owed. Billing and front desk don't communicate effectively. Would not recommend to my friends or family.
