I was very impressed with the staff , since we walked in the reception desk everyone was so helpful and comforting my daughter and I. Took us in quickly seeing how sick my daughter was, everyone in the ER were making my daughter as comfortable as she could be. My hats off to Melissa from the reception desk and Beverly from ER , the went above and beyond to make sure we we're taken care and once my daughter was in a room they took the time to come check on her to see how she was feeling. I totally recommend East Houston Medical Center . Loved the staff and Doctor there Thank you for everything ❤️
The nurses were amazing Lacey was so nice to my mom and marisol was great, one of the best service I’ve experienced so far.
Worst ER EVER. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Took 2.5 hours for a simple xray result for my daughter’s wrist. No dr ever came in to see her. No nurse gave any medication for her pain! The nurses were too busy gossiping about other patients and making fun of them where we can hear everything! Richard was too worried about his Lunch break and the dr who came in late cause she had to get her Popeyes before it closed! Wow. What a joke of an “ER” !!!
Dr. Shariq Khan has ZERO compassion. Did not seem very interested in my condition only in how much money he could make off of me. ☹️
My daughter was seen this afternoon and all I have to say is that I am very impressed im the care my daughter received , she was brought to back very quickly. My daughter is very afraid of needles. The young lady by the name of Marisol walked my daughter and explained every thing she was doing , whatever this young lady did worked because she didn’t even cry when she did her line and blood. I was very impressed. The nurse rowina was great and between the 2 they had my daughter laughing. Everything went great until the new people came in to work the next shift. There was a complete change from the early early staff and night staff. I was NOT impressed with the night people NO PROFESSIONALISM!! Not only are they loud but their bedside manners are HORRIBLE! They are loud , too much cursing and attitude. Jose , Stefanie and Kelley were complaining about a patient super loud at nurses station, they were talking very bad and complaining about a Patient which is not profesional to do. A patients family member came to station to ask the status of there mom and the guy at desk said” I don’t know I will get the nurse “ family member stepped away and he turned around looked at the lady nurse and he said “ what the F$@% do they expect when u come to hospital, make them wait longer now so they don’t come back next time “ I was expecting the nurse to tell him to stop being loud and rude but instead she went along with it and also cursed, Stefaníe walked up to Jose and the nurse asking what was going on and she also was very loud and said let me go in there and tell them we need more blood and I will stick her with the biggest needle I have and teach them a lesson “ I was very shocked and disappointed because the earlier staff was GREAT but everything went down hill with the night staff. I am still in disbelief on how different the day staff and night staff act, day staff -professional , quick , great bedside manners , positive energy , rapid response and always smiling, night staff - loud , horrible bedside manners , unprofessional, cursing , talking bad about patients at nurses station , sarcastic , dirty. I am sorry but people like this makes the entire hospital look bad. I was very satisfied and impressed with the care my daughter was receiving earlier and it all went down hill when the night people came in. I hope the manager reprimands the unprofessional staff as these type of employees make the entire hospital look bad.I asked one of the ladies receptionist for the names of the early staff and she wrote down names : Rowima, Tony, Marisal, late staff names: Jose ,Stefanie, Kelly. I hope the manager can fix this incident so it won’t happen again they need to help build a great reputation for your hospital not give it a bad reputation. I hope you can fix these issues. Thank you
My mother-in-law's recent experience at East Houston Medical Center was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated a level of compassion and professionalism that put our minds at ease during a challenging time. The medical team, including the doctors and nurses, showed genuine care and concern for her well-being. They took the time to explain her treatment plan in detail, making sure we understood every step of the process. This transparency and open communication greatly reassured our family. Throughout her stay, the nursing staff was attentive, ensuring she was comfortable and pain-free. They even went the extra mile to accommodate her dietary preferences, which made her feel cared for on a personal level. The facilities at East Houston Medical Center are top-notch, clean, and well-maintained. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene during the ongoing pandemic was commendable and made us feel safe. Not only did they provide excellent medical care, but the emotional support they offered to our family during this stressful time was invaluable. They were patient in addressing our concerns and always had a comforting word or gesture. Overall, East Houston Medical Center exceeded our expectations. It's clear that the entire staff is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to their patients. We are immensely grateful for their expertise and compassion. If you're seeking medical care in this area, I highly recommend East Houston Medical Center for their outstanding service.
I'm so pleased and satisfied with the service that I have received here at the ER. Miss Emily, the tech who has been helping Miss Alicia. My nurse have been very compassionate, making me feel at home and comfortable while I'm in pain. They make you feel cared for and assist you in a timely manner. Miss Emily is very professional and I am very pleased with being here in her care, I know that my health is in good hands here at Houston medical center. The doctors are amazing and the nurse's and staff are very helpful and friendly. I recommend anyone to come to this ER if you are in need. Also, it is close to home and convenient for me and my family.
Everyone from the front desk to the back of the house was great. Staff had great bed side manner. Just keep in mind when coming this is more of an urgent care. The do a little more but are not a full emergency room. They do not do trauma cases. Out of all the er/urgent cares in the east side of Houston this place by far was the best. Clean and the staff works great with one another as well.
