Best opticians in my experience, had a frame that broke that I really liked and they were able to source me the exact same pairs which made me really happy and it arrived in 2 days. Very good experience and the man working offered very great service, definitely recommend to everyone.

Excellent high quality service
Highly highly recommend - I have bent my glasses out of shape several times to the point that multiple other opticians refused to even try to fix them for fear of breaking them. Drury Porter was the only place that could fix them, and they were incredibly helpful, explained the risks and what could be done very clearly, with a perfect outcome both times. Thank you!
I stumbled across Drury Porter when I was trying to find an opticians that could handle a repair to a pair of glasses and I’m so glad I did. I popped into the shop and they had a look at what needed doing. Clearly explained what needed to be done and asked if I was happy: A couple of hours later I received a message to say my glasses were ready. I now have my favourite glasses back and ready to wear. Friendly, polite opticians, impeccable service would recommend to anyone in the area.
Outstanding customer service. Really friendly, not trying to sell me stuff or get me to spend money - just honest and very helpful. Even did a brilliant quick repair job on my glasses with spare parts so I can use them again - free of charge. Just an all round excellent experience. I will save up and return as a paying customer when I decide I need a brand new pair.
I recently got an eye exam and a new pair of glasses at Drury Porter Eyecare. Before, I would always get my glasses from big chains so going to a local optician was a new experience for me, and I have to say it was a most pleasant one. I had the owners to myself during my appointment and it felt like a tailored experience. We had a friendly chat, I was somehow much less anxious than usual about the eye exam, then they patiently offered a lot of advice about the shape of my new frames, and even offered to straighten out my previous bent frames as they were slightly crooked. I also got lots of advice for prescription sunglasses, and will be ordering a pair from them soon. I feel very lucky to have found them!
I visited Drury Porter Eyecare at the end of September, after accidentally snapping my handmade metal frame reading glasses. The entire experience was impeccable - I was able to receive information and a quote via email and dropped off my glasses the next day. Tan was extremely polite and clear in explaining what work was required to fix my glasses. The job was well done and completed well within the timeframe provided. After collecting my glasses, Tan also gave me a ring to make sure I was happy with the results. Hopefully I won't be snapping my glasses again, but if I do, I know I can count on Drury Porter!
This store is a gem. In a world where we say we want to consume less,but still push planned obsolescence,this optician is a testament that we can still fix things vs throwing them away. They fixed my frames when everyone else said it was impossible and I had to get a new pair. The staff were super friendly and kind and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend them. They are kind and are doing more for the planet than many who claim loudly to be. I appreciate the service and the ethos so very very much.
