Dr wood and Company has been our vet for over 15 years! From the vets to the upfront staff (Deidra, Ryin, Emma) and techs (Melissa, Brianna, Andy) Bri…the superb Office Manager we love you all! I found Double Oak Vet center when my cat, Mia, needed medical attention on a Saturday. I had already visited an animal hospital and was dismissed after they said everything looked fine, but Mia clearly was not okay. I started calling everywhere in the area, but all were fully booked for the day. My sixth call led me to Double Oak Vet and I was so grateful and relieved when they said to bring her in that day. When I arrived with Mia, we were immediately led to a room to be seen by Dr. Olah. He thoroughly examined Mia, and made recommendations for tests that would be best to move forward with given her symptoms, and helped me to prioritize them as well. After Dr. Olah discovered what Mia was suffering from, he delivered the diagnosis in the most kind and caring manner, which made me feel better despite the situation. Dr. Olah and Dr. Wood both spent time trying to help me piece together what could have happened to lead to her diagnosis, which just speaks volumes about how much they care. Dr. Olah delivered a very well thought out care plan to help heal Mia, and even though her healing was a long process, Dr. Olah was there every step of the way. In between check up visits, he would reach out to check on her and it was a personal touch that I have never received from any vet before and meant so much. Every time I walk through the doors, the staff at the front are welcoming and friendly. Deirdre is someone that I always look forward to seeing on my visits as she is so sweet. Dr. Olah and the staff here are the best that you could ask for. They genuinely care, they are super knowledgeable, and their passion shows. This team has done so much for me and my cats, I can’t even fit it all into a review. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone and everyone.

I really loved the whole staff from the receptionist who was very sweet when she greeted us and the vet tech, unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she was so friendly. And of course, Dr Watson, she was fantastic and made my cat feel comfortable and safe in her towel cocoon!. This was my first visit inside the clinic as the first time we came, the inside was under construction so I had to wait outside. I’m very pleased with the overall clinic!

Everyone I met was very nice, polite and helpful. The vet and vet tech were great and explained everything perfectly. They were awesome and I was impressed by their care for my pet. A great experience, very reassuring on a trying day. Thanks!

The attention to detail and care you gave our Calvin was just incredible. Dr. Watson was not pushy but straightforward what can be done and what was expected. Dr. Watson was also sensitive to our limited budget. Also the staff kept us informed constantly for three days. Special recognition needs to be given to Andy, Brianna and the whole staff. You can tell they really cared and put forth extra effort to get Calvin back to health on his way home and improving daily. Calvin is now home and getting stronger every day. I made the mistake of bringing Calvin home the first night where as he should have remained on IV. He was so weak he couldn't even stand up. We thought he was almost gone on day two. Calvin weighed over 70 pounds and had to be rolled onto a beach towel and carried into the veterinarian hospital. Thankfully the whole staff reacted quickly. Can't thank you enough, David Cope
